Right now, the Grizzlies are getting double team in the post which is manipulating the Grizzlies to depend of the perimeter game early aka Tony Allen. So far, he's 0-3 and is playing into the Warriors hands for now.

Koufos with the clean up. Curry struggling to get going so far. Keep it that way.

Draymond Green keeping the Warriors in the game. Grizzlies need to minimize their TOs' and do a better job boxing out for rebounds. Also driving to the post to draw fouls can help.

These are some of the worst calls here. They are not calling any travels and one sided fouls. These refs are ruining this game.

I haven't been this frustrated in a while with this team.

Why is Vince in this game? He is completely useless so far this series. He isn't drawing fouls or hitting shots.

Direct reminder of the last regular season game matchup vs. them in Oakland. Steaming pile of junk.

3 down. One more to go. Nothing's more critical than being tied 2-2 and going back on the road to the Warriors house. Will not get any easier.

Re: Round 2: G4: Grizzlies(1-1) @ Warriors(1-1)
What did we learn today?
Whenever Draymond Green sets the tone at the beginning of games, the Warriors tend to win.
Curry had his best game in this series with 32pts
Z-Bo drew double teams throughout the game rendering him to a quiet 12pts and 11rebs.
Tony Allen gets exposed in the Warriors adjustment plans via the double teaming of Z-Bo. Turn him into a shooter and he's get the short end of the stick hence his minutes tonight.
The Warriors out muscle and out work the Grizzlies all across the board.
Too many TOs' at the wrong time along with missed shots.
The defensive mismatches and lack of man to man defense were the key difference in the Grizzlies loss tonight. They need to go back to the tape and review their mistakes and make some adjustments by Wednesday in Oakland.

Re: Round 2: G4: Grizzlies(1-1) @ Warriors(1-1)
I am so frustrated with the refs in the 1st Q. Not just the calls on memphis, There was a basket of Gasol that you could even hear from here the slap in his arm. Later on, there were dumb calls but being 18 down it did not matter that much.
They did a good job defending the bigs. Refs allowed Bogut, Green and Lee to bully, slap and push our bigs and the smalls coming to double could reach as much as they wanted. However, you cant explain how many turnovers you had risking passes to play inside. So bad ball movement.
Mr Allen, you are "first team all defense", why did you take 4 jumpers in the very first minutes? I am surprised you even touched the rim.
Regarding the Green/Carter combo. Guys, stepping up does not mean shooting at will.
So, lets regroup and take the oracle at G5. Seems unlikely to happen but so did G2...

Re: Round 2: G4: Grizzlies(1-1) @ Warriors(1-1)
What happened is this - the momentum from Game 3 second half carried over and we let them get up early. Green hit some big shots, but Gasol missed countless opportunities. They were in a prime spot with Curry playing tentative, but when they got up big, he played his loose brand of basketball again. This game was purely psychological and the refereeing was downright awful for most of the game. We needed this one, but if we make the right adjustments and they don't shoot lights out, we still stand a chance. Why play Vince? Also, Jeff Green and Marc Gasol - wake up!

Re: Round 2: G4: Grizzlies(1-1) @ Warriors(1-1)
And perhaps the series.
Here's tonight's agenda.
The Warriors will create mismatches. Pick and roll on them. They don't defend that so well.
Jeff Green is likely to start if TA doesn't go. He needs to wake up from his hibernation. Winter is over. Spring is here.
Gasol and Zbo need to attack the post with authority. If double team, someone will be open to take the shot or do a stop and pop.
Rebounding is a great importance.
Be emphatic! Create some mismatches on the Warriors as well.
