I will admit it's a strange turn of events from the last few days. Vernon's shock jock personality did bring in lots of fans and critics alike. He was informative about his sports across the spectrum and can come across condescending and brash if his opinions are challenged. Normally, I'm working around the time he's on the air so I haven't had the opportunity to listen to him as much in recent years. And given it's Vernon, I'm not missing too much. Given his track record, he's been through these situations before and has found his way back on air. So it would not surprise me if he finds himself back on the radio or perhaps a new situation in the near future.

Looks like Vernon was not out of luck too long. He managed to hook up to Bill Simmons to host the Ringer show for two or three times a week.
