The difference between the two clubs is even if the Spurs decide to rest some or most of their stars they will get a consistent effort from non rotational players that they typically still win the game regardless.
Would anyone be surprised if we have a 3 game losing streak by Thursday morning?

At this point, three won't surprise me. The Lakers loss kinda didn't count as one of my losses. Now that the Grizzlies lost, it could increase to four with the Detroit on the horizon.

Tough game down the stretch as expected. Unfortunately they took their foot off the gas in OT.

I appreciated the fight they showed for a change and there were some huge takeaways from this one.
1. The Spurs are not invincible and their style of play is within the Grizzlies wheel house.
2. Wade Baldwins athleticism is not matched by any guard for the Spurs, but too bad he doesn't know the game to exploit it.
3. IF the Spurs do defeat the Grizzlies in a 1st round matchup, they will be ripe for a 2nd round upset due to fatigue.
4. The officiating for the Grizzlies is so bad is it officially comical, so there is no need to get mad about it.
5. The Spurs will always have a chance to win the game because they play smarter.
6. The young guys have to play so find a smart way to integrate them into the process. Wade Baldwin, Deyonta Davis, Troy Daniels = yes; Andrew Harrison = not so much
