Too bad this wasn't in Philly.

The Sixers should win this one, unless Marc Gasol goes off for another monster game.

Even then, our perimeter defense will have to be stellar.

I would like to see Warrick in the lineup as he proved to be effective on offense against Thad Young at the PF spot. Also in the last matchup between these two teams, the Grizz were able to outrebound the Sixers in Philly despite the loss. Although the Grizz have a troublesome history of defending against starting lineups with athleticism at nearly every position. I kinda feel that they match up well against Philly in terms of getting up and down with them on both ends of the floor.

Rudy went out the game with an injured eye. Also, the Grizz lost tonight 110-105. Mike Conley and Marc Gasol had career nights on the offensive end with 31pts and 30pts respectively.

So we lost to a team that we actually matched up well against. Not too much of a shocker considering the fact that the Sixers are in the race for playoff seeding so they might be extra motivated.

yeah it was a good game by Grizz but Oj Mayo is really playing bad. I dont know the reason but I believe it is he's tired from playing in almost all Memphis games this year. But hope he gets it back together. Marc gasol another big performance and believe he is the franchise player not Rudy Gay, or Oj Mayo but Marc Gasol.

Marc Gasol is playing pretty well but if he is our franchise player we are in big trouble. Meaning we would have whiffed on not only Rudy but OJ Mayo and Conley. Someone needs to let Marc know that he needs to dunk everything inside the arc when he can, instead of the finess European lay in.

I wouldn't build the team around Gasol myself. He's a good third option player at best. He needs more consistancy and more of that magnetism that draws players to rely on him as the point guy on game nights. Obviously now, he lacks that draw that players feel confident enough to rely on him to be the #1 option guy to build around the team.

I agree with most of the above posts- he's not our franchise player. With that said, the ball should run through him on offense instead of promoting empty, quick possessions.
