we gotta win this one. we are 5-5 in the last 10, we may say we are on fire, what a streak!!!maybe we just lived a bad start. im still thinking that "if we play with damn sense" we could fight for the last spot to playoffs. but aint sure if it would be good to be at 8th cuz we would face the lakers and our playoff run would turn 0-16..... :(

Yeah. Having that 0-12 playoff record is bad enough to say the least. But it would be good to fight for a playoff for the team, the fans and the city's sake.

Does the team need another scorer off the bench. Not someone who can play back up SG, but a scorer.

Morris Almond, your table is ready...

Watching the game at Staples, the Grizz owned the 1st 34 minutes of the game.
The wheels just fell off, it was like what the Clippers usually do. As a Clippers fan, I saw a lot of potential from this young Grizz team and I mean it.
Gasol is going to be very good,He dropped 2 gorgeous SKY Hooks.Tinsley surprised me at how well he can play (after a year of non-activity.) Rudy Gay is a beast and if you can get Connolly & Mayo together, that would be a dangerous backcourt.
The only guy, who played who didn't impress me was Thabeet. man, that guy is slow, lumbering and not very co-ordinated. Maybe you need to bring in Dikumbe Mumtumbo to teach him how to get up & down the court.

Hey Riverside. From what you´ve seen, who should be the grizz main PG: Conley or Tinsley?

Tinsley's more experienced but he isn't as good of a ball handler. Baron Davis in yje 4th quarter really pressured Tinsley into holding on to the ball too long or making bad passes.
I am not a huge Connolly fan, yet for a 31 yearold kid I can only see him improve.

th PG spot is our weakest. aint sure if i want tinsley or conley there. As ive seen in the last matches tinsley might be more reliable in the 4th (tho yesterday he did as bad as the whole team) Conley might be better starting. but the playing time should be 50%-50%....conley hasnt improved at all in the last year. i think he is a good backup PG but he just can be starting in the grizzles. in any other nba team he couldnt be starting. name a team if u can, i cant find one.

I don't care if Hasheem Thabeet runs point guard but they have to play more focused than that.

I wish they read your keys to the game "1. Play like they got some damn sense."... OOPS
I looked at the calendar for December and it could be a cold month for Grizzlies. Lots more difficult teams are ahead for Grizz but we know they can do it. But for 48 minutes!

What about Mayo running the point?

+1

(With Young as a defensive stopper at SG)

I want to see Mayo at the point as well but I'm not sure Young is the answer starting at shooting guard. I haven't seen him play enough minutes to form an opinion on that one.

But with the Nets having Courtney Lee, Chris Douglas-Roberts, and Terrence Williams, I wouldn't mind seeing one of those guys next to Mayo for the right price.

Yes the Grizz definately need another scorer to come off the bench. An aggressive player who can play on both ends of the floor. CLee could be one of those players, so could Anthony Morrow.

As for Sam Young @ SG, I question his versitility to defend the quicker SGs' like your Rip Hamiltons or your Ray Allens for example. Those guys are known for their despective quickness to beat their opponents to the basket. Is Young quick enough to keep up with them.
