Lakers Get

Total: $6,250,000

Pistons Get
Derek Fisher $3,400,000
Matt Barnes $1,906,200
Darius Morris $473,604
LAL 2012 1st

Total: $5,779,804 x 1.25 = $7,224,755

Accept. Prince can still play. Averaged 14/4/3 last season. Should thrive playing with Kobe and Pau, also should be more motivated playing for a contending team.

Pistons accept. We like what Prince gave our franchise over the years, but felt that he was too old for the new core of this team, and was being paid too much. In return we get a cheap expiring SF in Barnes, who we feel can provide the same toughness that Prince used to. We also pick up two point guards. Morris has a bright future back in the state he played his college ball, and we feel Fisher will be a great mentor for our young guards. A late 1st should be valuable in what looks to be a deep 2012 draft class.

Trade 54

CHICAGO AND NEW JERSEY TRADE

The Chicago Bulls have traded PF Carlos Boozer and SF Luol Deng to the New Jersey Nets for SG Manu Ginobili and PF/C Al Jefferson.

Boozer 13.5M + Luol Deng 12.325 = 25.825 (Chi Out)
Manu 12.891 + Al Jefferson 14M = 26.891 (NJN Out)

Deng is becoming one of the elite SF in the league on both ends of the floor and Boozer is a better defensive fit with more range than Jefferson. This will let Deron penetrate and dish better than Al's clogging his turf in the low block. Tough going but in the end it was great dealing with Chicago. Unlike prior games, NJ was the problem in these negotiations and I appreciate your patience. thanks

trade is within the $5mil trade rule so it should work

We needed a 3rd big bad so bringing Q back to lob city is worth it to get RA

Trade denied. 4,690,801 * 1.5 + 100,000 = 7,136,202, which is less than Barbosa's salary. It is the lesser or 1.5 + 100,000 or 5M, so this trade does not work.

Deal works.

SAS accepts. We go over the lux tax, but it's only for 1 year, and we can amnesty Diop this summer. I like Darko, but we feel that a pick, cheaper replacement, may be in our best interest. Pick are also valuable in bigger trades in the future.

We accept. We needed a big..yup

sorry, misunderstood the "lesser" aspect. ORL thought it needed to be adjusted and I said it didn't.

the EDITED deal will be

ORL trades
QRich $2.446.200
RAnderson $2,244,601
J.Harper $473,604
totals: $5,164,405 x 1.5 + 100,000 = $7,846,607

CONFIRMED

Shedding Richardson's salary was my goal here. Looking into the future, re-signing Ryan Anderson was not in my plans, so ridding the team of some unwanted salary right now was the logical move.

NOH and ORL have a BLOCKBUSTER to announce.

NOH outgoing:
Al Horford $12,000,000
Kemba Walker $2,356,230
NOH 2014 1st (unprotected)
NOH 2012 2nd
1 Million in Cash
total: $14,356,230

ORL outgoing:
Dwight Howard $18,091,770

Howard is a top 3 player in the league and the 1# defensive player in the league. 16/15 on elite defense, both man and help with an ever expanding post game.

CONFIRMED

The Magic wanted very much to keep Dwight, however with the limited assets we've had, we weren't in a position to significantly improve the team. We were able to create enough cap space to bring in the only UFA All-Star out there, but felt that it was too much of a risk if we weren't able to land him, and that we could very much lose Dwight if it didn't happen.

With so much uncertainty, I felt it was in the best interest of the franchise to go the rebuilding route. Al Horford is a local hero from the University of Florida who helped bring a title there. He will be an instant fan favorite coming back to the area. Kemba Walker despite being a rookie is already proving he can play in this league. A true point guard who also has NCAA championship experience.

Saving 4 mil in salary, and gaining 2 additional picks is only a plus.

Trade #55 Boston and Houston have a trade:

Boston trades: Lou Williams($5,176,000) + E'Twaun Moore($473,604) = $5,649,604

Houston trades: Thabo Sefolosha($3,550,000) + Luke Harangody($788,872) + 2014 NOH 1st + $2m in cash = $4,338,872 x 1.5 = $6,508,308

Houston accepts. Don't like giving up the next Larry Bird but we feel Lou Williams is one of the best true 6th men in the league.

Celtics accept.

We have a plethora of ball dominate guards on our roster, so moving Louis Williams whom we value highly for Thabo Sefolosha, someone we've coveted for a while was a move we're willing to make. Adding a future 1st round pick that could potentially be a lottery pick is quite enticing. We believe this strengthens our team now and creates the balance between offense and defense again.

#56

Orlando Magic Trade:

JJ Redick
Chris Duhon

Cleveland Cavs Trade:

Johnny Flynn
Donte Greene
2013 1st round pick from MIA
2012 2nd round pick from OKC

From Orlando's standpoint, losing Redick hurts, however after 5 years of service we felt it was best to part ways. We are going in a new direction and trimming salary and gaining cap flexibility and 1st round draft choices are the best way to go with our rebuild. With the big free agency class coming up we feel we are in a much better situation to attract players having now reduced team salary an additional 10 million.

#57 Houston and Cleveland have a trade:

Cleveland sends: JJ Reddick($6,750,000) + Ryan Hollins ($2,483,333) + $3m in cash= $9,233,333

Houston sends: J.J. Barea($4,300,000) + Jordan Hill($2,855,760) + 2014 Portland 1st + 2012 Dallas 2nd = $7,155,760 x 1.5 = $10,733,640

Houston accepts. With adding Lou Will, Barea became expendable. Reddick is a great shooter who would like in our lineup with Wade/Felton.

Ryan Hollins can jump high.

Cavaliers accept, we're really bored, getting no offers, wanted another young talented good rebounding big, and oh yea, we think Barea has the potential to become the next Jerry West.

...and oh yea, i must fill my trade per day quota with moss

Miami in / OKC out:
Nick Collison - $3,272,997

OKC in / Miami out:
Juwan Howard - $1,352,181
Eddy Curry - $1,352,181
Total = $2,704,362

Miami accepts. As I say every time we play, Nick Collison wins basketball games.

NOH and WAS have a trade to announce.

NOH outgoing:
Tyrus Thomas $7,305,805
Tyreke Evans $4,151,640
Anthony Morrow $4,000,000
NOH 2013 2nd
total: $15,457,445

WAS outgoing:
Josh Smith $12,400,000
Jan Vesely $3,065,040
Luke Babbitt $1,645,440
total: 17,110,480

Smith lost 25 pounds this offseason and looks great. He has always been a very good defender and he worked on his mid-range game this whole offseason. He can play two positions and compliments our franchise player, Cousins, nicely. We also added the 6# pick in the 2011 draft as well.

Trade#60: Washington Wizards and Portland Trailblazers

Washington Wizards send:
Nick Young
Trevor Booker

Total: $4,990,777

Portland Trailblazers send:
Ekpe Udoh

Total: $3,294,960

Nick Young's a talented SG, but he has no future on the team. We gain a former 6th overall pick who still has the potential to become a decent defensive 4/5.

Wizards accept. Tyreke Evans is an injury-year removed from 20/5/5, while Tyrus Thomas is incredibly talented and puts up great per-minute numbers. We really liked Smoove but we wanted a more traditional 4.
