Man... These pair options aren't great.

Yeah. You’re really facing an uphill battle with Kareem/Durant/Ray in a point guard rich pool.

I meant the options to pair with Kareem weren't great.

Reaves is a solid 6th man.

The preference of course is to get someone who can start but you can’t have everything.

Fade has the best trio so far, imo. Lots of stacked teams will soon be adding a top point. Very tough field.

Jokic/Billups was not a good start in this draft. Kobe isn't a textbook fit but felt I needed another first roundish guy.

Debated 3 MVP’s there, went the wrong route I’m sure, but I’m sick of building the same type of teams. Trying something different. Harden with Butler and KG protecting him should be alright. Also KG is best with an Alpha.

Quite a player has fallen a long way - at least he wouldn't be getting paired with peak LeBron.

I nearly took Chris Paul myself, but D-Rob felt too good to pass on

Ye I would've taken David Robinson if he had fallen.

Fits really well with LeBron and is in the same tier as the other great centers drafted earlier

I initially wanted to trade up but stayed at 10 to get the Hakeem/Dirk frontcourt. Hakeem is one of my favorite players but he can rarely be paired with who I think is his perfect frontcourt complement in Dirk.

Add in Stockton and it's perfect synergy. As a low-usage scorer and pass-first PG, he works great with an off-ball shooter like Dirk and a high-usage isolation specialist in Hakeem.

My plan was to save just enough FGAs using 07 Duncan to get one of Barkley/Malone/Davis... Was it a good plan? Not sure. I maybe should've considered Robinson over Duncan though I think it would either be 92 or 98.

What would the reaction be to DRob/Jokic? Strongly considered it, but don't think I've ever seen a true twin towers go far in these.

Jokic can only drop. Question is, can DRob switch? Starting 2 drop bigs is a recipe for disaster in the modern era. DRob was uber athletic, but he was 7'1''. Don't think you maximize his impact if you ask him to defend away from the basket. Offense-wise, he relied heavily on his face-up game and lacked 3pt range. It could work, but personally I'd rather pair Jokic with either a cutter (to maximize Jokic's passing) or a legit floor spacer (to maximize Jokic's scoring).
