You can read the rules in the stickied thread. Feel free to post any ideas/suggestions in THIS thread.

The top 3 teams from each conference (MIA, CHI, IND, OKC, SAS, LAL) last season have been contracted so please rank the remaining teams based on who is now on team from 1 - 24.

PM me your rankings

Sign ups will start after GM a Team winner is announced KL.

For now rank the rest of the teams from 1-24 (PM them to me) to help figure out the contraction draft order.

The contraction draft should be 2 rounds

With the top six teams out, there is a lot of talent.

It's going to be insane.

I am traveling all day, but my rankings will be sent in around 6 PST.

I second the two rounds. So much talent from these six teams.

This. I dont quite understand that either, it changes the league a ton, which is exciting, but it evens out things A TON.

Idk if I'll join this one, still thinking about it.

There's so much talent on those teams. It's going to pollute the free agent pool as well.

for fun :)

Every game will have dif teams contracted for dif reasons to keep things interesting. This time it will be these teams that go poof. Next time it may be the last 6 teams that entered the league or the 6 smallest or largest market teams.

It mos def does level the playing field to a larger degree which means everyone will start on similar footing. Don't forget that money also plays a big role and all the drafted players (and we might have 2 rounds of draft) will add to your team's salary based on RL contracts.

The mini amnesty has been cut down to only one as well so it will make that money angle more difficult this go round. There were a few teams paying huge lux tax last game (a couple that payed over $100 mil in tax for a season :o ) with 3 minis and a lot cheaper players to choose from in the contraction draft. So with that changed you will really have to pay attention to your finances while building your team.

IF we have 2 rounds of contraction draft then barely anything of worth will be added to FA pool. IF we have only one round then it will add mid/low level players to FA pool.

Neither way will cause much "pollution"

I read through the rules and I'm still fairly confused but I think I'll try this out. When do signups begin?
