Salary Cap:
60M - Soft Cap
75M - Lux Tax
95M - Hard Cap
Amnesty:
Amnesty will be able to be used at any time contingent on the team not having used it already. Teams can only use it on players that had a contract when the CBA was signed, and has not been traded. The Amnesty completely takes the players contract off of your salary cap.
Trading:
Trades will be approved by me in a timely fashion, make sure your roster is updated the trade is legal and there won't be any issues.
New Trading Rules:
Rule #1: Any player signed to a max contract from another team is ineligible to be traded. For example, if the Atlanta Hawks signed D12 to a max contract they couldn't trade him. This was an issue several games ago, where the loophole never got closed.
Rule #2: No S&T can occur where the AAV (average annual value) doesn't exceed 20% of the cap. So if the cap is set at 60 million, you must have an AAV of 12 million over the life of the contract to be eligible to be traded. The ONLY exception would be for RFA.
Rule #3: Free agents signed are not eligible until FA "closes". In this case, Day 21. Minimum FA signed AFTER FA "closes" are not eligible to be traded until 72 hours later.
Rule #4: As commissioner, I reserve the right to veto any trade that I deem "bad for the integrity of the game." If you feel that the trade should be allowed AND are not involved in the trade, e-mail me and if three different people ask me to reconsider, I'll get a third party to decide the outcome of the trade.
Rule #5: No auctioning of players. This delays the game and prevents trading.
Rule #6: I reserve the right to add more rules to protect the integrity of the game.
Trading picks:
List protections on outgoing picks, there was confusion about this in previous games. You can trade back to back picks in this game. 2013-2017 picks are in play.
Under Lux Tax:
Teams can acquire up to the lesser of 150 percent plus $100,000, or 100 percent plus $5 million of the salaries they trade away.
Buyouts/Trading Money:
Standard 7mill to start. No ceiling.
Every team starts with 7M
Max amount of cash you can get/trade in one deal: 3M
You can never be a negative
Buyouts
Email me with the player, buyout, and 500k more than the listed salary.
