This is my 3rd or 4th game, first time I've ever done this bidding stuff. The last few times, we just finished the first three tiers, had a day or two of signing tier 4 FAs normally, then 1st come, 1st serve to nab tier 4 FAs for the minimum (with a per-day limit of course).

I submitted my first bids on FA's 8 days ago... and I'm still 23 hours away from knowing if I'm going to be filling my roster... or taking another 24 hours...

Has anyone played any other games of a similar kind (I know BI, Willy & Kees have played another type of game) to confirm how FA runs? Any learnings from that?

Replace word "bi+ches" w/ GM's, "area" w/ FA's.

Charlotte:

Jameer Nelson / CJ McCollum (#12)
Manu GInobili / JJ Redick
Tobias Harris / Hedo Turkoglu
Amar'e Stoudemire / Patrick Patterson
A.Bogut / Greg Smith

Rights to Reggie Bullock, Deshaun Thomas, Isaiah Canaan

Open to all sorts of offers, considering I've only really heard from two guys all week.

I want an SF - Thabo / D Green / Dudley type guy.

Open to trading Amare but no low offers please - if you're gonna offer scraps I won't take them. I'd happily take overpaid guys e.g. Millsap, Martin etc if I think it makes my team more competitive.

Pretty content with my roster (for once). Still listening to offers, just slowed down my trading a tad.

Point Guard Rajon Rondo/Beno Udrih
Shooting Guard DeMar DeRozan/Landry Fields
Small Forward Andrei Kirilenko/Jared Dudley
Power Forward Al Jefferson/Brandon Bass
Center Position Marc Gasol/Bernard James

Heat again.

I've received one offer in the last 2 weeks.
I'm placing ever player on the block that I can, for the hell of it.
Please don't low ball me.

PG: CP3 / Tyshawn Taylor
SG: RIP / Delfino
SF: Bron / D. Stevenson / Jae Crowder
PF: Odom / Shard Lewis
Cc: Joel Anthony / (probably Sacre)

Dwight can't be traded.

Please send me something at least worth thinking about.
It will be tough for me to break up my big three, obviously, but ill listen.
If you don't have an offer for CP3 / Bron, I'm otherwise looking for a PF and SG that fit with my big 3)

I feel you man. I'll be in that situation in a week or two, seeing as today was only my second day of class back from winter break.

Sent you an offer earlier today, BI.

looking over the roster and I see lots of people listinhg the min signings at above the min, people PLEASE realize that if you are over the cap, the vet min value is $884,293, even if the guy has been in league for 10 years, his cap hit and trade value is the 2 year min value. If you are under cap you can sign a "min" for the actual salary, but over cap teams only pay the player $884,293. I see lots of teams listing min players at different salaries

^ Put that in huge bold red letters so everyone sees it.

Dallas is at:
Cody Zeller / Tyler Zeller / Nick Collison* / Steven Adams (unsigned rookie)*
James McAdoo / Byron Mullens / Channing Frye*
Dorell Wright / Trevor Ariza / Jeffery Taylor
Chase Budinger* / Ramon Sessions* / Anthony Morrow* / Shannon Brown*
Raymond Felton / DJ Augustin* / Myck Kabongo

* 'ed guys are being shopped. We need to get below the 15-man limit ASAP. Shannon Brown is a 3.5M UNG contract that can be waived if you so desire. Also have $5M in cash, cap space, and a few picks. Everyone's available (mostly) and I'd like to upgrade my wings.

Both are "Win-Now" teams. I am building around the players in Bold. Everyone else can be had if it makes me better. Age & contract are not an issue.
