I realy wanted KAJ and was ready to go non big or 60s big but I dont think I can sell a sub 45%FG C no matter how great he was and the era differances. If I had been just a little further back I would have accepted the Challenge of building around someone who seems to be the hardest GOAT candidate in ATLs to build around. Im happy to get out of the teens for a change.

Looking at teams you need to consider if your going big in the 60-70 or not. If you dont you will have non 3pt shooting wing player and that can hurt you. If your going to take a pre79 wing player make sure you have a great 3pt shooter on the other wing or at PG.

My advice is to look for slashers if your taking a pre79 wing player.

Im especialy interested in Millers team since I had that combo and hes taken 2 pre79 wing players. Of course DrJ gets his ABA 3pt line and he has other yrs to use. I just dont think Oscar needs to or wants to shoot 3s. very curious to see what 80s-2000 bigs he can put with them.

Am I missing something or shouldnt sunscorched made two picks at the end of the round and beginning of the next one?

Rounds 2 & 3 have the same order. Its an "ABBA" draft. You are up!

We've been pretty good about this so far, but just a reminder if you guys are within range of your pick, and might not be around, then send me a PM! Again, draft order is ABBA ABBA, so the fourth round starts with SunScorched, so we're almost there...

Cool.. Cool Cool Cool.

Yeah, we always go ABBA in these games.

I'm not sure it was necessary this time around. The theory is that after 2 rounds the teams with higher picks tend to be stronger, so you get that equalizer.

In this case I'm not sure that's true.

Well considering the format your basicly looking at 60 starters/5 eras/5 positions so in effect your basicly building a team out of the 1st and 2nd string all decade teams. If you have the 4th best PG or C of a decade you messed up. You should be able to get one of the top 2 PGs or C from any decade. Of course there are exceptions. The top 3 Cs from 60s, 80s and 90s are all drafted.

Another interesting fact is the derth of PGs drafted so far. after 3 rds only 4 PGs drafted. I expect the 4th rd to have a run on PGs.

^I tend to not look at it in those terms.

Get the players that fit the best, I don't worry about "decade" rankings. I'd rather have the 3rd or fourth best small forward in an era who fits perfectly with the rest of my team than the second best one that isn't a good fit with the team.

What a great idea..

Seriously though, it's crazy to see some of the names that have dropped to the 5th round because of the era stipulations.

Only 6 or 7 picks is the last 24hrs. Everyone's gotta seriously consider makin a list if we want this game to continue with any type of flow.

Also, the few teams that havent posted a roster page yet(no names), could you please oblige

Saturday/Friday night slowdown has been a part of these games for years, its just a reality of what we do.

Overall I'm satisfied with the progress we've made these few days. We're autopicking for War if he doesn;t come around within the next 20 min or so.

I'm linking everybody on my roster page to their respective BR pages once I've drafted my team. It will lessen the need to post everybody's stats and keep my roster post fresh and clean, and one that you don't have to scroll too long to get through.

Hadzi has by my count a little less than an hour to make his pick.

Again, if you know you aren't going to be around, please make a list, especially when your clock carries from one day to the next as this one did.
