Trade 177 (not numbered correctly in the post below) is not approved as salaries do not match. Cash does not count when matching salaries.moss_is_1 wrote:DiamondParoxysm wrote:#176
Houston & Phoenix agree to a trade
Houston receives: Markieff Morris 2,091,840, 500k cash
Phoenix receives: Anthony Randolph 1,750,000, Darren Collison 1,900,000
Total: 3,650,000
150% rule works
suns accept. i needed depth
Accepted. Wanted to get a better backup Pf and Morris has been great for phoenix. Collison is going to be a free agent and we wouldn't have brought him back most likely. Plus we get closer to dipping back below the lux.
2,091,840 X 1.50 = 3,137.760 < $3,650,000. Cash doesn't count in making salaries work in a deal - but that was said before. Didn't work at 125% and doesn't work 150% - Maybe a TPE but it cannot be combined with other pieces. Make it legal already!

Houston sends: Shane Battier(3,270,000) + 2016 LAC 2nd
Wizards send: Jordan Hill(3,500,000)
needed a bigger backup PF, hill is a good defender, double double guy.
Wiz accept, expiring for expiring, get a pick

Spurs Accept. I hate giving up a first round pick but I'm hoping I finish top 8 so I can get the pick back and I'm hoping to move Green for a pick or two.
Toronto accepts. Not approved, these deals need to be numberedkidr1211 wrote:Saul Goodman wrote:Toronto and Milwaukee

Chuck Hayes $5,722,500 $5,958,750
Sacramento 2nd 2014
Mo Williams has no use on the team thats rebuilding. That 2nd will be in the mid 30s so potential to snag a good steal. Good dealing Toronto!
Toronto accepts. We dump 2 million in salary next season.
Okay yeah I am confused, I could've sworn I wrote my Manu trade in, but I didn't. I also see I traded a top 8 protected first, and I never traded that back, so I should've gotten another first round pick if that's the the case because I finished 4th...

Didn't you draft Smart with the 4th pick? What's the problem?

I traded him another first I had but it was top 8 protected, and i was top 8 so I should've had three first round picks rather than two

You traded your 2014 1st top 8 protected. You finished 4th so it was protected and you used that pick to draft Marucs Smart. I'm not sure what other picks you had.

Nevermind then, it'll be too much to backtrack anyway to what happened to my third pick. It's no big deal though

The protection backtracks to the team it originated from, not to the team that owns it. Just because you were bottom 8 has nothing to do with your other picks.

Bulls out / Lakers in:
Jimmy Butler - 2,008,748
Why?
A million picks for Jimmy Butler? Yessir. He's the only player in the league who can guard Lebron. We wanted to make sure he doesn't end up on one of our rivals. He's gonna beast of the bench for us. He's probably the best role player in the NBA. 40+ minutes a night consistenly, hits the three, plays hard, plays team ball, and is an elite lock down defender. Good dealing tmac!
The Bulls need to accept this deal
