This thread is for posting ideas and scenarios only.

If you come up with any good scenarios or ideas that you want me to use for the Trade Tournament then please post them in this thread. I may or may not use them. You can also e-mail me your ideas if you would prefer that route.

"Toronto has realized, a few months into the year, that they are close to contention but still need that extra push. Either upgrade DeMar DeRozan or Kyle Lowry to a true star player, or bring in another player of their caliber for them to be able to get over the hump.

Off limits: No one"

"Right before the trade deadline, Russell Westbrook gets injured and it looks like he will be out for the year. However, the Thunder are ruling the West and don't want to give up too fast. Without sacrificing TOO much of the young talent that the Thunder have, bring in a guard who can be a temporary second scoring option to Durant, so that the Thunder can continue their push.

Off limits: Kevin Durant"

"Portland has decided to retool around the younger core of Damien Lillard and Nic Batum, moving on from the LaMarcus Aldridge era. Trade LMA (+other vets if desired) to maximize a rebuilding package that compliments Lillard and Batum, with the main pieces being under 25 years old.

Off limits: Damien Lillard, Nic Batum"

"Washington is in the hunt for the top of the East, but have given up big performances to players like Carmelo Anthony and LeBron James. Losing Trevor Ariza has shown to really affect their perimeter defense, and the Wizards don't have anyone to count on to shut down some of those big names (Webster isn't the same on D after his injury). Bring in a defensive specialist on the wing who can play 15-20 minutes per night, and guard some of the best wings in the game.

Off limits: John Wall, Bradley Beal, Marcin Gorat, Paul Pierce"

Hope that gives you a few ideas

I'll throw two out there:

1.) Knicks are having trouble with the triangle offense. Very few understand it, and no one on the current Knicks team seem to be grasping it any time soon. Derek Fisher cannot coach any other style and that is all Phil Jackson wants for New York. Phil Jackson and Derek Fisher want "triangle guys" in New York, so make this happen. Either bring guys in who have "done it", or bring guys in who "can do it".

Untouchable= No one, but very unlikely Carmelo leaves.

2.) Lakers are actually contending, and Kobe and Nash are playing MVP level basketball at the all star break. Everything seems to be clicking and the Lakers are firing on all cylinders, with everyone healthy for once, BUT Mitch still wants to improve the team since he is so stubborn. Bring the Lakers another star, YET still contending now and in the future.

Untouchable= Kobe (basketball reasons) and Nash

One can dream right

Wouldn't be surprised with Kobe, he still looks good

The LeBron goes home to Cleveland Cats start slow just like the Heat. Retool the team at the deadline.

Untouchables. LeBron Irving Love.

Haywood with 10 mil escalator is highly valued.

Team is NBA finals or bust.
