Scenario 1:

Now that Eric Bledsoe has returned, The Phoenix suns have a plethora of guards on their roster. They are looking to trade some of their guard depth to fill some positions of need that will help them contend in the western conference.

Challenge: trade away 1 or 2 of your guards to fill a position of need for the Suns. You can only make ONE trade though. Make sure your trade is legal by the CBA.

Scenario 2:

Josh smith and Rajon Rondo have a friendship bond that goes all the way back to their teammate days in Oak Hill Academy HS. They have been in constant contact recently talking about how much they would love to team up together. The problem is that both of their contracts expire in different years so the only way to pull it off will be through trade.

Challenge: Unite the two friends together and make them teammates. You can either act as the Celtics GM OR you can act as the Pistons GM. If you choose Pistons then bring Rondo to Detroit. If you choose Celtics then bring Smith to Boston. Make sure your trade is legal by the CBA.

Scenario 3: (Credit to -Kees-)

Portland has decided to retool around the younger core of Damien Lillard and Nic Batum, moving on from the LaMarcus Aldridge era. The Blazers GM wants to continue to stay competitive in the tough western conference and bring back a player/players that are young to grow with the core of Lillard and Batum.

Challenge: Trade LMA (+other vets if desired) to maximize a rebuilding package that compliments Lillard and Batum, with the main pieces being under 25 years old. You can bring back a package of players or just one player. Just remember to stay competitive. Make sure your trade is legal by the CBA.

Scenario 4: (Credit to -Kees-)


Washington is in the hunt for the top of the East, but have given up big performances to players like Carmelo Anthony and LeBron James. Losing Trevor Ariza has shown to really affect their perimeter defense, and the Wizards don't have anyone to count on to shut down some of those big names (Webster isn't the same on D after his injury). Make sure your trade is legal by the CBA.

Challenge: Bring in a defensive specialist on the wing who can play great D and guard some of the best wings in the game.
