Write up: My team is the most well rounded in this game. We have the perfect blend of offense and defense. Conley can stop Parker (he always goes toe to toe with other star PG's during the Playoffs) Allen can guard Joe Johnson and Pierce can guard Lance. My front court has the superior advantage, and my bench is a lot better than theirs.

All in all, Jazz win in 6

Thunder Rotation:
Al Jefferson (30) / Amare Stoudemire (9) / Chris Kaman (9)
Taj Gibson (28) / David West (20) / Anthony Tolliver (reserve)
Kevin Durant (32) / Chris Douglas-Roberts (8) / Anthony Morrow (8)
Klay Thompson (32) / Ray Allen (16)
Russell Westbrook (32) / Nate Robinson (16) / Rodney Stuckey (reserve) / Steve Nash (IR)

Thunder write-up
I have to say that Phoenix looks like a pretty good team, but we're going to be a mismatch at every position. As we will throughout the playoffs, we'll make sure that two of our starters are on the floor at all times for defensive purposes, while shooters off the bench bomb away from all angles. If STAT or Kaman gets hurt, Gibson plays more backup center, Durant plays more 4, then the wing shooters (CDR, Morrow, Allen, Robinson) will get extra PT. The talent on the roster and Clifford's defensive schemes speak for themselves. OKC in 4.

Clippers writeup:
My team is more talented, much deeper and more balanced. Steph and Blake were both top 5 players last year and should improve even more. Not to mention excellent role players filling in the gaps, an elite coach, and HCA.

Clippers in 5.

Blazers, Clippers, and Spurs all in 5. Portland's entire starting five is better, and the bench is deeper, no contest. I like the Mavs, but they'll struggle hard without Dirk. Clippers look amazing. Steph, Griffin, and the perfect utility guys around them is a recipe for success. My brain exploded trying to imagine Lance+Popovich, but that Spurs team looks great as well.

Im going to be a little busy today. Will someone please email me when all teams have been decided and earned the 5 votes in order to advance? As soon as someone emails me the specific teams that have advanced I will get the next round of the playoffs up and ready to go. Good luck fellas!

Spurs write-up

Spurs are SHOCKED that they ended up as low as a 4 seed after adding Joe Johnson, Lance Stephenson, and Kenneth Faried to the 5-time championship core of Popvich, Parker, and Duncan. Adding versatility, scoring depth, and most of all athleticism to an already outstanding core. Depth is as good as it has ever been. This team has passers, scorers, floor spacers, rebounders, and clutch performers.

Dont see how the jazz can match up. Were better 1-8 and 1-15. As far as the notion that pierce can check joe johnson, i'll rest with this:

for future reference you can put a "prediction" in your writeup, that's fine, but we don't actually vote for ourselves in anything in this game.
