Coaching Rules:

1. We will have head coaches in this game. Make sure to list them on your roster page. In order to hire a new coach you will send offers to MadNESS (cantmesswithness8@yahoo.com) and he will have the policies in place in the Head Coaching thread.

2. We will not be using assistant coaches in this game or any other staff member. Only Head Coaches.

3. Head Coaches are eligible to be traded just like players and you may also fire a coach. In order to hire a new head coach, you will have to send coaching offers to MadNESS and he will have the policies in place in the Head Coaching thread.

4.) Please have the head coach you'd like to hire in the subject of your email.

As always coaching guidelines are as follows:

- Coach's may or may not sign at any given point.
- They may sign right away (once an offer is received) or a week from when an offer is received.
- Coach's occasionally will only take offers if they have demands met (players can't be traded, you must contend, ect)
- Coaching is based on realism, fit, and basketball reasons.

Please take all of these into consideration when sending your offers for coachs.

- Once a coach is fired, you may then send in offers for them.

New available coach's:
Scott Brooks
Monty Williams
Randy Whittman

The Magic have asked interim coach James Borrego to step down and look for job opportunities else where. We would like to thank him for doing an admirable job and believe he will get the opportunity to be a HC again some day.

The Magic would like to announce the signing of head coach Mike Malone to a 5 year 25 million dollar deal

Image

Mike Malone will instill a championship quality defensive intensity in the young Orlando Magic. The Magic front office and fans want to compete and Malone gives us the best opportunity to do that. Malone with the Cleveland Cavaliers in the late 2000s made multiple playoff seasons. And helped NO achieve the biggest team defensive turnaround of the 2010-2011 season, under head coach Monty Williams who has been terrible ever since. He was the highest paid assistant in the league and was named the best assistant in the league in 2012 for turning around the GSW. He was just hitting his stride as a head coach before he got vivek'd.

Malone was drawn by Cousins. They wanted to build something in Orlando together and we will give them the opportunity to do that here.

The Thunder are proud to announce the hiring of Jeff Van Gundy as our new head coach. We are signing him to a 5 year/$40,000,000 contract that reflects our deep committment to Coach Van Gundy.

Image

We have a championship level squad led by the best player in the game, Russell Westbrook, with a 2nd unit that could make the playoffs. We are deep, we have championship experience, we have players in their early 20's just entering their prime. We have elite young prospects, and we have a whole stash of draft picks including 3 in 2015. What we needed was a coach to bring all this talent together on the court. Van Gundy is an elite defensive mastermind and we are giving him some serious tools to work with including a DPOY, multiple other talented bigs, 2 of the 3 or best wing defenders in the league in Tony Allen and MKG along with an assortment of other quality defenders. He also has a smart offensive system able to take advantage of us having not one, but two bigs capable of giving you 20/10 every night in Vucevic and Gasol plus elite shooters, plus Westbrook, and Gordon Hayward as the best 3rd option in the whole league.

Coach comes to fight:

And he's the most stylish coach since Pat Riley and Showtime:

LA Lakers has relieved Byron Scott of his coaching duties.

We have signed current UConn Head Coach Kevin Ollie a 4 year $20 million contract as our new Head Coach.

Image

Stemmed from the Jim Calhoun coaching tree, Ollie is one of the best NCAA coaches, winning the NCAA championship last year. With his championship experience, understanding of the game and great in-game coaching, as well as being a great motivator to young players, he is the perfect hire to us. We have the youngest team in the league after waiving the older players - the oldest player is Kent Bazemore at 27 and the youngest is Tyler Ennis at 21. With the #4 overall pick and 4 second round picks in the upcoming 2015 NBA draft, we believe that Ollie is the perfect coach to this young team. Just like Ollie coaching a big college programme, Lakers is a big brand name and will guarantee his success. We also promise unlimited support to Ollie by finding the most suitable players to fit in his system.

Pelicans have decided to hire Jay Larranaga as our new head coach. He is a fresh young mind and has had success as an assistant to another young coach, Brad Stevens. We think he will develop into a very good NBA head coach. The contract is for 3 years, $12,000,000.
