Re: *Take 3* GMAT: West Round 1
Grizzlies are a team that is a sum of parts versus individual matchups. Here is the writeup on how my team will function:
Kyrie/Dragic/Bradley allows two playmakers at all times in scorer/facilitator/defender role with Adams as sparkplug. On offense, think Sun's 2 PGs offense spamming PNRs Mav’s style with a stretch big (Jerebko/Turner) always on the floor. My SL has 4 3pt threats for spacing with Gordon projecting as Marion. With Celtics, Jerebko increased Thomas’s offense from 109 to 116, imagine the upgrade from Thomas to Dragic/Kyrie with better rim protection. Jerebko helped Celtic’s D also. Spacing allows Pek to work the post. On Defense, Bradley is my guard hound, Gordon/Roberson bring it on 1-4, and Turner/Wright as rim protectors.
-----------
Ness could you make my rotation like this:
PG: Kyrie Irving (32) | Goran Dragic (10) | Avery Bradley (6)
SG: Goran Dragic (20) | Avery Bradley(16) | Jordan Adams (12)
SF: Aaron Gordon (23) | Andre Robertson (25)
PF:Jonas Jerebko (20) | Brandan Wright (10) | Aaron Gordon (11) | Myles Turner(7) | Kris Humphries
C: Myles Turner (23) | Nikola Pekovic (20) | Brandan Wright (5)

Re: *Take 3* GMAT: West Round 1
No upsets round 1
GSW
Hard fought series. Sac has the defense but not the offense should go 6 or 7
NOP
I don't like Lillard all that much but with decent spacing and good defense and great depth I'll give them round one. Especially because Memphis will push the pace.
SAS
I just think Tony Parker falls off a cliff, and no depth. You have Durant which is great but Memphis with Pop is just a little bit better.

Write up:
CURRY. MVP. He owns this series.
Butler can shut down Wade or Dudley sure, but Bosh / Hibbert have their way on offense and defense. Our bigs have their way.
Our bench is also very deep now, after out last deal.

Re: *Take 3* GMAT: West Round 1
Quick write up:
No doubt Curry is the NBA MVP. All you can do is try to make things tough on him. I got the perfect squad for that. George Hill is a 2 way player. He's one of the better defenders and he won't make things easy on Curry. In certain situations, I can also put Butler or Dipo on him. Advantage Curry but I feel my team can make it very tough on him.
Wade has the name over Dipo but I don't give Wade a big advantage if at all. Dipo is basically a younger Wade. Wade is at the tail end of his career and has a gimpy knee. Give me the younger, quicker and better shooter in Dipo.
Butler is one of the better 2 way players in the league. There isn't a matchup he can't handle in this series.
The bigs. Completely disagree with Ness saying his bigs will have there way both offensively and defensively. Bosh is better than Davis but Davis is very underrated. He provides a physical presence and is a very good defender. Bosh is basically a stretch 4. He's not a great rebounder and doesn't work much in the post. We'll take our chances on him missing his fair share of outside shots and my front court cleaning up the boards. Al Jefferson will completely neutralize Hibbert. Hibbert has regressed every year for the past 3/4 years both offensively and defensively. Big Al is one of the best post players in the NBA and has been one of the best centers for a while know. My team clearly has the advantage there.
I tried adding more pieces to my bench but failed. With that said, in the playoffs, your depth or bench is not what wins you series, it's your starters. I feel like my starting 5 overall is better than the Warriors starting 5.

Re: *Take 3* GMAT: West Round 1
super-quick overdue write-up:
I think the lillard/irving matchup is a wash but even if you don't it's not a huge difference, pretty similar play-styles both will get there's. Dragic is an advantage over gordon/reke but not a major one, I think he's seen his best ball and 31 his loss of quickness will hurt him. Kawhi vs. AG, do I need even address this? AG in his 3rd season basically his second since he missed most of his rookie year, will be crushed into dust here. draymond vs. Jerebko/brandan wright/etc. he'll crush them defensively enough to be able to help on guards and play team D constantly and only wright can slow him down offensively. KK/Dieng is better than anyone at his C position.
Larger issue: he's staring a bunch of unproven sophmores in this matchup, my forwards/frontcourt is clearly far more proven, experience, and just talented. Pakii may have a very good team in 2019-2020, but they are not there yet, my teams actually nba-ready and peaking, this will be easy.

Utah in 4- clarkson/gg as 2 starts doesn't work for me, jazz have a stud at every position and way more star-power.
GSW in 6- this team has issues and jimmy butler will exploit one of them for a couple wins but kings are just too thin to take down the reigning mvp.
Spurs in 7- Kevin Durant literally wins 3 games by himself because an old tony allen aint stopping that, but SAS has way more balance/fit/depth/championship caliber etc.
