I have to admit I'm too dumb to do the math, seriously, I just don't get it. :(:( And the Knicks have a lot of newly signed guys :(
One more example for Noah or Lee please?
I know you were asking roc, but, I think, using Noah as an example...
Noah RL salary = $17M
RL salary cap = $94M
17,000,000/94,000,000 = .18
Noah's RL max would be 30% of the cap because he's a 9-year vet. So
.18/.3 = .6(60%)
Noah's max in the game is also 30%, which means .3 * $85M, which is $25,500,000
Finally, .6 * $25M = $15,300,000
And then you do the 4.5% raises starting with 15.3M.
Roc can correct me if I'm wrong.
I do think this is going to cause problems for people and still think it would be much easier to just raise the cap, even though I've already done all of my adjustments.
So is this correct:
Durant 9year vet 30%
RL salary $26,540,100
$26,540,100/$94,000,000 = 0,2823414894
Durants max is 30percent so 0.3
0,2823414894/0,3 = 0,9411382979
His max in the game is $25.500.000
0,9411382979 x 25,500,000 = 23,999,026
So his salary is
$23,999,026 $25,078,982 (PO)
exactly!
