So Dame has to use DeAndre or he has to take a player from the Clippers?

Man, that's kinda a tough roll of the dice, huh? A single franchise player and not even a franchise that any big star has ever played for. Not ideal.

There's more than one.

Made the obvious choice. Hope Dantley's around for his pick.

And now I'm screwed no matter what Dantley does here. Im pretty sure he's taking the easy choice.

Paul is a really nice fallback for a situation without a top drawer MVP guy. He's about as good as you can get while saving your MVP slot.

Glad it went this way... thought more guys would be playing "screw your neighbor", rather than helping me win. All good.

Gonna build around I have never gotten to draft before, and I am very excited to do so.

To clarify, please refer to this link to determine which players share a franchise.

I'll enjoy watching this from afar. Crazy stuff.

(Also, not to be a dick, but technically by official NBA records Zo and CP3 didn't play for the same franchise. *Adjusts nerd goggles*)

You are correct. By rule, Dantley's pick is illegal and he'll have to make it up at the end of the draft. Ness's pick is valid since the rules state you match a franchise with the last pick, regardless of if it is legal.

Sorry, Dantley.

No way, José. It's the same franchise, regardless of whether the name changed. I'm using Mourning.

Besides, that's the way we did it in the other 3 degrees drafts.

No it's not. They changed histories with the name.
