Re: Synergy Sports Question
I would have to check but that looks about right. I use to be allowed to analyze any college team/player and every aspect of every moment (same as NBA) did this for Portland and their NBA Draft. Ultimately my analytics were in conflict with the direction Synergy was heading in the future (proprietary reasons as the owner called it.)
Even though Synergy closed my account later that year I have nothing but good things to say about my dialog with them. Good company and I hope the people I know that work there continue to love their jobs

I just checked my old files and it goes much further back than 2009 because that was when I started and they had a few years already I believe.

If I subscribe now to Synergy, do I get access to previous seasons Synergy stats?

It depends on what kind of subscription you would buy. Most common goes back 3 or 4 seasons, but more expensive version has data as far back as 2004/05 - unfortunately I think (however I'm not sure) it's available only for companies (teams).

Perhaps not, below this NY Times article cites how much Kobe has relied on his post game in various years.

Sure enough, when the Lakers’ star power forward, Pau Gasol, missed the first 11 games of this season with an injury, 34 percent of Bryant’s offense originated in the post. That number was up from 14 percent a season ago and 8 percent in 2005-6, according to Synergy Sports Technology.

A bit of a bump, but does anybody have Synergy numbers pre-09-10 handy?
Now that's the difference between first and last place.
