There are no and ones during Hack a Shaq (or Dwight). So yes, every trip to the line is 2 FTA in those situations, and 54% free throw shooting would be 1.08 points per possession.

But their total FT% isn't the same as only from 2FTA trips to the line! You don't know what their FT% is in "hack a" situations...

Besides even 108 ortg from FT is a good result.

Team don't know that when they make the decision to hack. They decide based on the player's total FT%. Sometimes the player may shoot worse in those situations, sometimes he may shoot better. Overall it's probably about the same.

Yeah, it's pretty good. I was just refuting that it would be some amazing efficiency like you were saying earlier.

But Diwght's efficiency (ortg) from FT is exactly 123 ortg so far during this season. And you didn't show anything to proof otherwise.

Because that includes and ones! The proof is common sense. When he doesn't get an and one, as in all hack a dwight situations, there's nothing else to adjust for free throw possessions because all he's doing is shooting free throws. Two free throws.

So show what is Dwight's FT% without and1s?

Who knows. It could be slightly better than his total %, it could be slightly worse. Without those stats, the only reasonable guess would be that it's approximately the same.

I know ;P

So far Dwight is 3/8 and1 FTs (you can check that at Synergy page), so 37.5%
After Memphis game he has total 85/157 FTs, so 82/149 FT during 2FTA trips to the line, so 55% and 110 ortg - still very good result, so hack a Dwight doesn't make sense.

Yeah so basically the same as overall, just like I said, and far from 1.23 ppp.

And he shot 49% for the past two years. Deciding to hack is a coin flip. It depends on how he's shooting that game and how the offense is running. It could make sense.
