For example, in the famous Shaq tip to Horry for the game winning 3 against the Kings in the playoffs, did Shaq get credit or was it Horry? I've seen this play happen often in the NBA but never really pay attention to the stat.
Also, what about when someone gets stripped on a shot attempt? For example, a player is on the fast break driving to the basket and as he enters the paint to go up for the lay in, the defender strips the ball off his hands before they go above his hips. Does this count as a block?
