Shooting percentage at various distances

Post#1 » by markjay » Tue Dec 16, 2014 3:26 am

With 30% of the season done, Kobe's shooting percentage remains dismal. I'm curious whether he is shooting from different places (or at least distances from the rim) than he has in the past, or whether he is simply shooting a lower percentage at any given distance.

Where can this be checked?

Lots fewer shots near the rim. More 3-pters. All other shooting distances are about average for him.

What's also interesting is that he has career lows or nearly so for all distances other than very long 2-pters, which is a career high, so far (.455).
