Player Projection Model for 2016?

Post#1 » by BasketballFan7 » Fri Sep 18, 2015 9:01 pm

Is there an effective player projection model for upcoming years that is based on a formula, and is not subjective?

What do you want projected? Individual player stats or player "impact"? The latter definitely exists, not sure about the former

Well, just a general question. Either is fine, both is better.

For player impact, this http://espn.go.com/nba/statistics/rpm/_/sort/RPM is probably the way to go

Nobody predicts BoxScore stats, as far as I know (although that doesn't mean that it doesn't exist)

BBR does predict per36 box-score stats, but they have not updated for 2016 yet, so keep an eye out.
