Going to highschool next year from Denmark

I will go to the state for a year as a senior.

Its random which state I will be going to, still in search of a family...

Anyone has some suggestion, tips? something I have to be prepared for or even what kind of different basketball things I will be suprised over.. things I can start practice now as a player also? that will help me "over there"
