His new handle will be "Fingers11" -- he's been saying that for a while. Or maybe "Toes11" -- it's all in the plan.
Breaking News: In a shocking development, Wizards owner Ted Leonsis has sold the NBA franchise to a consortium of participants in a discussion board devoted to the team on realgm.com. Details to follow....

I think pif may be angling for one of those baby oil massages.

I'm sorry to lose Hands (I don't know why, since he drove me crazy), but I won't be sorry to lose this thread.
Amen. This thread is a travesty.
It's a travesty of a mockery of a sham of a mockery of a travesty of two mockeries of a sham. (I call a mistrial, your Honor. Do you realize there is not one homosexual in the jury?)

Okay, I'm thinking we're losing interest in this thread, not including the homoerotic banter.
I'm gonna unpin this. If folks comment, it'll stay up. IF not, it'll just naturally fade away.

You can unpin this thread all you want, but you'll never be able to unsticky it.

I have a feeling the unstickying of this thread is an attempt at homoerotic asphyxiation, and could be technically a hate crime.

I go away for a while and when I come back 12 pages on Hands. He did love this board.
Pine, who are your customers at the RealGM? Who is prospecting for new content related customers. We are basketball fans. Microsoft forced Windows 8 on their customers, how did that work out.
Cherry picking low hanging fruit is poor business development and not a sustainable business model for the new forms.

Did Nas die or get banned from the board without me noticing?

Re: Some board changes and our next steps together
I fall in line with what others have said, Hands never bothered me, his posting style didn't bother me. I didn't even have him on ignore, and I echo what others have said...Hands is his online personality, but there is a person behind the name and now he has one less place to talk about Wizards basketball (there aren't that many to begin with).
The strange thing about this situation is he's going to come back under another name, so love him or hate him, he'll be back eventually.

Pine, you'll just have to wonder whether I am being "delusional" when I say that after your comments above, I think you are a cyber bully and a hypocrite.

CCJ, give him a break. How many times do these guys have to break down dozens of offenses/warnings, a ban from the general board (which they had nothing to do with) and the incessant spamming?
The moderators on the board are the most even keeled I've ever come across, either owning boards myself, or the dozens I've frequented. Pine *especially*, he's a genuinely nice guy who isn't a knee-jerk decision maker.
Cut him some slack, as much as I respect you CCJ for the many years spent on the board, you should take a look in the mirror after these posts. They insult me, and I'm not even the intended target.
The guy had his chances, he ignored them and got axed. It's happened maybe 1-2 times in the past 6 years that I can remember. That shows excessive restraint, not "cyber bully" moderation techniques.
Give the mods a break?
