I think we're just working up Hilton's trade value.

Horribly coached game by Flip Saunders.

First of all, it's okay to sit John Wall. Flip could have tried Hinrich, Arenas, Thornton, Blatche, and McGee.

Flip almost always benches McGee after any minor mistake. The Wizards were still ahead when McGee missed the FTs. Flip comes in with (EDITED) Armstrong. Dumb.

Next, with Cleveland's guards dominating late, Flip doesn't notice his most inexperienced player has been on the court over 40 minutes. He could have come in with Thornton for Wall--and Wall could have come back in for either Hinrich or Arenas a couple minutes later.

This was HORRIBLE to lose by 8.

Flip played Gil too much down the stretch when it clearly wasn't his night.

Arenas was off and it was only his second game back. there is no way he should have been in the game over Thornton.

Flip did the same thing we Nick when had the hot hand vs Philly, Nick was torching but Flip sat him for most of the rest of the game.??????

Wizards wasted a guaranteed deal on Armstrong. I'd rather see Hamady N'Diaye out there.

+1 Seriously, I'd rather see N'Diaye and Seraphin out there failing, they will never play this year.

What bothers me more than the Wizards losing are that Thornton sat whole fourth quarter after being on fire in the third, and Javale got benched for a freaking scrub that has no business on the court.

Flip really sucked tonight.

This is going to happen all year. I refuse to watch many more games from here on out. The purpose of this season was to let the players ride out their problems in hopes they figure it out.

Seems like Flip has different intentions: play favorites and play HIS guys. McGee played a decent game, FAR better than Armstrong who sucked a big fat one. Thornton was on fire. But nope Flip takes over.

I guess that was a typo but it was Hilton.

Hilton is not going to be a long term piece obviously. McGee might be. Might as well leave him in.

the good news long term is that Thornton is looking more and more like a long term starter. LOL Chenier talking right now about Thornton being out at the end.

the other good news is that Blatche and McGee got 25 rebounds between them. Both guys generally suck on the defensive glass so that was good to see.

I guess when Howard comes back, Thornton won't play at all.

No matter what, Kirk Hinrich will play a ton of minutes. Kirk was good tonight. But when Howard comes back, Flip will still play three guards.

Another guy that won't play also is McGee.

How Flip Saunders can stick with Armstrong down the stretch is beyond me.

Co-sign (saves me the trouble of getting worked up writing it out). Lot of rotation issues.

Yes, there were some bright spots. Hinrich hot early was nice to see too, and he played some glue defense at times. It's not like they don't have some weapons.

This org will squander having a guy like Wall as-long as Flip & Ernie are running things here. I hope that Ted knows enough about basketball to see what is happening and is thinking ahead.

Hey, hey, get away from our first round pick. I'm still counting on winning the lottery

I also don't understand why Flip did not go back to Thornton. However, calling McGee's mistake minor when his failure to box out on a rebound led to a four point swing in Cavs favor and blaming Hilton when it was Mo Williams and Gibson who killed us is ridiculous.

The fact of the matter is this team stinks. We have absolutely no bench, our bigs are still soft as butter, we play no D, and Wall and Gil still have a long way to go, both in different ways.

BTW, Hilton does suck, but at least he trys. Yi is the waste of roster space. Not only does he stink, but he doesn't even appear to be trying on defense. I'd rather see Booker, Seraphin, or Hamady get his spot.

I didn't say McGee's mistake was minor. What I said is invariably Flip benches McGee on a mistake. Just like he doesn't play Nick Young.

Dandridge, maybe if the coach had perimeter defenders in there like Young and Thornton, Williams and Gibson wouldn't have got off. I think Wall playing 43 minutes on a guard-rich team is ridiculous. Also, tonight wasn't Gil's night. Flip stuck with three guards and he will continue to do so to this team's demise. I think the guards being tired or not playing well together is the reason the team lost, but some of that is on Flip.

Tonight, Thornton has to play. When Flip benched McGee he should have come in with Thornton.

Where I totally agree with you, dandridge, is I'd rather see Booker, Seraphin, and Hamady besides Yi and Armstrong. Yep, Armstrong puts in good effort and he will give a good foul. He's just not that good. Yi plays very timidly..

This team will stink it seems.
