Beal returns, no Durant or Grayson Allen, but Draymond Green gets thrown out. Suns manage to hold on for the win despite a nice run by the Brandin Podziemski lineup that only had one starter (Curry) in the closing minutes in the game.

LeBron is the MVP of the Tournament.

The Pacers offense looked the worst I've seen it this year. LAL has a lot of wings and AD quarterbacking.

AD was dominant last night.

People have been saying it since Lebron got to LA - the key is AD.

Ja Morant incredible in 1st game back. Hope he used the time off to cut some of his entourage.

Morant was somehow not ranked by recruiting services for ESPN, 247Sports, or Rivals coming out of high school.

Ja was great. Then Steph had the dagger in the late game - the tear drop that kissed the sky and put the C's to sleep for the night. 2 really good games.

Also the dude we traded to get Patrick Baldhead Jr. played some real solid minutes. Not gonna win an MVP or anything but he'll play in the league for a few years. I can see why we made the trade for the higher upside guy, but the other guy could have given us some minutes behind Gaff that are right now being just thrown away/given to Gallo.

Killian Hayes might be worse than Poole. Watching him f up the game against the C's was painful.

Anyone else getting increasingly nervous about the Wiz game vs Detroit Jan 15? There is a good chance in #sowizards fashion that we end up breaking their loss streak

Jokic casually finishes with 34 points, 10 assists and 9 boards on a .891 TS%. It's crazy that that stat line doesn't even raise an eyebrow anymore. It's just what he does.

The Nuggets were down 18 with just over 6 minutes left in the game. Finished the game on a 25-4 run.

He's going to be doing this for another 5-6 years, and still be borderline All-NBA for the 4-5 years after that. He's going to be top 5 in career Points/Rebounds/Assist... Possibly number 1 in points.

Like Lebron, we should not project too much and enjoy the ride, but he is going to be a top 3 All-Time...drafted in the late 2nd. Insane

I'd take the under on that. I think Jokic is more likely to retire early to hang out with his horses and family just because he doesn't feel like playing professional basketball anymore and doesn't really care about the money. He's signed to 2028, but I think it is about an equal chance this is his last contract. Triple those chances if he takes a nagging injury along the way.

I say: Enjoy him while you got him. He's playing Stef Curry games, while in the body of some giant farmboy. It's fun to watch.

I turned it off around that time. Should have stayed awake.

Yeah, no chance Jokic gets to the Lebron/Kareem/Malone tier of career total points. In 8.5 seasons, Jokic only has 13,000 points. Even if he plays 8 more seasons scoring more each season than in his best season so far, he'd only get to 27,000 points by age 36. That's good enough for 15th best of all time. Karl Malone, ranked 3rd, has 36,000 points.

He might crack the top 10 in assists if he can maintain his current rate for another 8 seasons. Likewise, his rebound total will probably come in at around the 8-15th range.

Jokic's most amazing achievement won't be the counting stats in points, rebounds and assists. Lebron and Westbrook will probably both beat him there. It will be his remarkable efficiency. He is currently 3rd all time in TS%, mostly alongside a bunch of low-volume rim-running centers (plus Curry and Durant). Jokic's scoring volume combined with his efficiency is unmatched. He'll probably also finish in the top 3 in most of the career summary stats like WS, WS/48, BPM and PER.

I think it's likely that he'll be considered a top 7 player of all time - maybe as high as 3rd or 4th. I don't think he can catch Jordan or Lebron though.

I could see him taking another 4-5 year contract considering he hasn't had any major health issues up to this point and by the time it's 2028 - he would only be 33. Plus perhaps he would be looking at something in the neighborhood of a contract slightly more than 400 million. That is if he cares even a little about money. Might also want to try to get Serbia to a gold medal.

Jalen Suggs with back to back games with 6+ 3s, now up to 39% from 3. 4 out of last 6 games with 20+ points.

18 points 4 rebounds 3 assists 2 steals 1 block per game 59% TS

And before Franz Wagner got hurt, he was absolutely torching the league. 7 straight games with 24+ points.

22.5 points 6.4 rebounds 4.2 assists 1.2 steals 2.0 turnovers 56% TS.

Suggs was considered a total bust by everyone a year ago, including Magic fans. No one talks about the fact that Wagner is producing like a young Paul George and is a total superstar.

Wemby had a triple double last night in just 21 minutes. Over the last 6 games, Wemby has been ridiculous. His per 36 numbers over that stretch are:

34.0 points
12.6 rebounds
5.9 assists
5.5 blocks
3.3 turnovers
2.2 PF's
.629 TS%

He has inexplicably played just 24.3 minutes per game during this stretch, despite the low foul rate.

He has been everything he was hyped to be. There's going to be no answer for him once he gets a little more experience.
