Best guess is to discount that Neil Dalal tweet and assume that he has grown just a little bit. He was 6'-6.75" barefoot. Let's assume he's up to 6'-7.25". That'll mean he lists at a hair under 6'-9", with a 7'-2.5" wingspan.

That's basically the same size as Precious Achiuwa, but a 2-inch longer wingspan.
It's an inch taller than Scottie Barnes with about the same wingspan.
It's an inch taller than OG Anunoby with the same wingspan.
It's a half-inch shorter than Kuzma, but with 2 more inches in wingspan.

height doesn't matter much anyway, compared to wingspan, vert, and weight/strength

I think we can safely say he has all the length he needs. What he needs is to hit the weights. Some guys respond better than others to weight training.

I think there's a distinction between the hard, objective rules of actual basketball action, and the subjective rules of player/referee interaction. Nobody is saying that star players shouldn't be ejected for violating the hard rules of basketball action (like committing 6 fouls, or a flagrant 2 foul). But I don't think it's unreasonable to ask that the NBA give a little more leeway when star players mouth off to the refs. The ejection of a star player has much more impact on the outcome of a game than the ejection of a role player, and referees should be cognizant of this fact.

I'm struck by how much (legal) gambling has become a thing.

Our last game vs ATL I noticed the over/under was 252.

I don't gamble but that seemed high. But with all the late FTs the over won.

Bilal really looks like he has the foundation for a deadly midrange game. That shot goes up pretty smoothly with a high release point and plenty of elevation. As I've said before, I haven't seen a limit to his upside yet.

Thanks FAH! One could say the low usage rate is on Bilal but it's obvious the coaching staff has to make it more of a point of emphasis. Like you, whenever I watched the Wiz I noticed him being overlooked by team mates recently. I guess it does not help either that Kuz has morphed into a selfish chucker in recent games . For example, in November Kuz averaged 5.4 assists vs. 3.6 in December.

Getting the Deni and Wemby treatment. Maybe what Gil said was true. Also, if we can pair him with Buzelis..man that would be a lethal combo in a few years.

Partly it’s this style of ball that everybody plays now — one guy goes in one corner, one guy goes in the other, etc.

It’s tiresome. It’s unimaginative.

And especially with a team like this, which shoots for shxt from 3 anyway.

It would be good for the two players on the team we most dearly need to see succeed: Deni and Bilal.

I don't think there's anything magic about a 15% usage. I definitely don't think force feeding him extra possessions will make any meaningful difference in his development. There's nothing wrong with mastering a role player's role at first while working on on-ball fundamentals at practice. Then, as the need arises or the talent becomes too great to ignore, he will take on more usage.

I think WizKev's analysis of comparing him to other teen rookies isn't a particularly useful comparison. I would just compare him to other elite wing defenders who started out as guard-dependent 3&D defensive stoppers and then developed more to their offense over time.
