NBA Draft.net had him going to Minnesota.....


at 45 in the 2ND ROUND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wanted him at 35, I don't dislike him on our roster, but I think we lose value in this draft by taking him because essentially we traded the 30th pic for the 56th in my mind. W/e, its over.

He'll be a solid contributor, but I question moving up in the draft for him. Also our frontline is quite small overall, since I don't think we'll be picking up a center in this draft. And unless we're picking up a big in FA...odd draft.

As much as I love 6'6 Power Forwards, I dont think we shouldve given up half our draft for him.

I saw Booker a ton in College. Dude was a Warrior for Clemson. He had the 2nd most bench reps in the combine (22 to 23) from Harongody. Improved his range every year. Plays hard all the time. Is left-handed.

Would I have traded up for him? Nope. That doesn't mean he can't be a contributor.

he is a good pick at 35-40....at 22..he is a reach

Look, the NBA DRAFT from 15-30 is looking for role players. I think Booker can be a role player.

Again...I like Booker (much like Seraphin was interesting), but at 22?

Looks like a tweener. Too unskilled for SF, too small for PF. And given that he is already 22, it's hard to believe he'll ever develop the skill to be a SF. I figure his maximum upside is James Singleton. Yay.

Nate, I think this draft is GMEG's Waterloo. He needs to resign after this travishamockery of a draft.

I know nothing about Booker - can he play SF at all? I don't like his size for a PF.

He's not a tweener. He's an undersized power forward. He's like a Kenny Thomas clone.

I like this pick by EG.

Booker can be an energy guy off the bench who has a wide body with a alright shot from 17ft. Good pick and roll player. He can finish and has leadership skills.

Booker could be better than Glenn Davis if he works hard. This trade makes sense.

This is really sad because I would've rather had the Wizards give up their picks for a proven player already in the NBA instead of bringing in another raw project. We have enough on the team already and how many years are they planning on rebuilding this team. They owe the fans more than that! Another 3-4 years of waiting for a champion caliber team, I'm not in for it. I couldn't wait for this and all we have is a #1 pick with a bunch of raw talent! GOOD NIGHT!!

Now, imagine Booker running the wings on the break with Wall. Even if someone could beat him down the court, you think they're going to take the charge?

Our biggest weakness the last few years(decades) has been a lack of athleticism and toughness. If this draft represents a commitment to make the Wizards into a hardnosed, athletic, defensive team with players like Seraphin and Booker on our bench, sign me up.
