The Hoyas are KILLING IT on the recruiting trail!

This is JT3's best recruiting run since he's been at Georgetown.

Reports: Top 75 big man Jessie Govan commits to Georgetown

Georgetown has landed their third front court recruit in the Class of 2015 as Jessie Govan has committed to be a Hoya, according to multiple media reports.

He ranks No. 60 in the class of 2015, according to Rivals.com.

Govan is a highly-talented post player, the kind of true center that knows how to score with his back to the basket. He can be a bit soft at times and needs to develop a bit of nastiness around the rim that will allow him to use his 6-foot-10, 260-pound frame to bully defenders, but the physical tools are there for the native New Yorker to be a very good piece in Georgetown’s system.

Govan joins Marcus Derrickson and Noah Dickerson, who committed over the weekend, as Georgetown’s 2015 recruiting class. All three are ranked in the top 75 by Rivals and they should provide the Hoyas with the kind of front court weapons that they’ve been missing the past two seasons.

Georgetown has really struggled with frontcourt scoring recently. Noah Dickerson and Jessie Govan should definitely change that

Hoyas' future frontline is going to be ridiculous - Copeland, Govan, Derrickson, Dickerson, & White in '14 & '15

Govan probably ends up top 30..

Already #15 on 247 sports and Bossi said he’s probably top 30 on Rivals when they update...

Marcus Derrickson (2015 6’8″ 250 lbs. Brewster Academy):

Derrickson is a below the rim big that plays the game using size and strength inside. He can also spot up and knock down open threes to stretch the defense. He has good shooting touch from mid and long range. Marcus can also face up and drive the ball in to the lane. When he’s aggressive, he can be overpowering inside and be someone who likes to bang in paint. While what we saw of his post game didn’t always impress, he has solid feet in the post and with improved touch can be a very capable low post scorer in college. Derrickson’s best attribute, from what we saw, was his ability to rebound on the defensive end. He carves out space well and is able to secure the rebound. Overall, Georgetown has a skilled big who can be quite versatile offensively

They pretty much dominated the game from start to finish. Georgetown has some really nice young players, Copeland, Peak, both guys have NBA talent. We should be ranked next week
Bickerstaff: who's up for kickball?!!
Ed Wood: Only if it's the no-pants variety.
