Should have gone with B Knight or trade down...

I think he'll be solid but not nearly the player that several guys picked after him will be.

Mark my words: There will be 1 or 2 future HOF players picked after Vesely, and probably 2 more future perennial all star players selected outside the top-7 in this draft.

I'm thinking Faried will be much closer to Rodman than Biyombo will be to Ben Wallace. Jimmer is going to kill it in the NBA. Cole is going to be a stud. Between Brooks, Hamilton, and Thompson one will be a 20 PPG scorer; and most of all, another PG will really surprise. Shumpert or Jackson--probably Jackson will be an all-star type guard.

Vesely is tall, white, finishes and can run with Wall. He'll please crowds. Shooting should come around some. I don't hate the pick but he's not going to be a stud or a star.
Bye bye Beal.

sorry to all my fellow Wiz fans that wanted someone to replace Dray :-)

Seriously though, I think the Wiz wanted this guy pretty much all along. I think they still believe in Dray, McGee, and even like Book & Seraphin. They wanted a 3 and Im totally down wit it

Obviously not draft him to stay here...we have JWall, obv

But to trade him to someone that needs Knight (hello Utah) or package him with Dray and get a real player

I think he will be better than expected. Though, nobody is expecting anything, so maybe that's not really saying much.

If nothing else, we've reaffirmed our status as one of the most transparent drafters in the league.

no that would have been a terrible idea for multiple reasons

#1 kemba was still available
#2 all the leverage would be in the opposing teams hands knowing the wizards HAVE to get rid of Knight where as another team wouldn't HAVE to get B Knight. they would prob be short changed for knight if they picked him to trade him.

wiz made the right decision.

Thank you! Vesely gives us length at SF, and in a best case scenario he could even challenge Blatche (I mean, how hard can that be). Don't think so? Check it out, looks like the spitting image of the clips and breakdown we've seen on Vesely:

So stop hating and get on the Vesely bus!

Here's some high-def vid of our selection on ESPN including that tall sexy Czech blonde he was sporting that kissed him like she was reved up and ready to get nasty anytime anywhere.

To be a Wizards fan
1. You are either a semi-commited part time fan who says meh after a loss.
2. or you have a traumatic brain injury and watch the games without understanding them.
3. or you are willing to annually have your dreams torn from your soul.
