I'd say closer to 0.5pts/rec. Backwards logic to justify: considering the league average per catch is ~ 12 (11.5) yards, i'd say make each reception the 6 points scored divided by 12.

However, maybe with the addition of the reception clause, the WR position will become too powerful? can we make TE receptions 0.75/rec, and a 0.25/carry rule? Is that too much specialization?

Replace the RB/WR flex spot with a WR/TE flex position.

I liked it when the TE position in general was replaced by a Wr/Te flex.

Add a single offensive player utility slot (flex spot allowing any position)

I've played with the W/R/T position on and off and it's fun gambling if BenJarvus Green-Ellis is going to get another goal line rumble. I think sellers is going to do something magical this season like he did back in '05.

Other Options:
Snake draft versus Auction

Single year or Keeper league

can we do a keeper? i mean, we're here regular enough, right? i abhor the snake draft. also, i'm glad you're doing it on espn so i can keep my leagues consolidated instead of flipping back and forth from espn to yahoo.

I've dived through the settings, and it looks like I can't weight PPR differently by positions. It's either there, or it's not. I can make it any number or fraction we want though.

I'd love to do a keeper if we can get 10+ regulars on board.

RE: the draft, auction would be a TON of fun but we'd need everyone available at the same time to do it. Snake at least functions if some people can't be online, so depending on availability, we may need to default to the traditional format. Unfortunately.

We're up to five, still room for at least 5-7 more!

Please do note if you have a strong preference regarding A) the draft and B) doing a keeper league or not.

I'd prefer the draft for ease of operation. I don't have a strong preference on keeper league or not.

I'd like to join. I don't know if a keeper league is practical with the turnover you'd have, or auction with the difficulty of scheduling this close to the season, but happy to try. Other things I don't have a preference about, just need to know the rules far enough in advance of the draft to adjust rankings.

We're up to six. We're also getting down to crunch time, so time to get people gathered.

I need your email addresses to invite you to the league. You can hit me with those at custodialninja at gmail dot com.

Settings are still flexible, but I've edited the first post to reflect what they are now. Unless people argue otherwise, that's what we'll use.

I'll join if you need more players. My preference would be that it not be a keeper league.

I agree too. Either way, I'll be drafting as if it's not a keeper league quite honestly.

The more the merrier!

I was personally hoping we could get a keeper league started, buuuut.... that's probably best done under an auction format. Also, the vote tally is now against it, so... maybe next year for that. ;-)

Sure thing, Wiz2. Just hit me with your email.

We are currently at 8 players. There is easily room for 2-4 more!

Draft moved to Monday to allow any last minute people to get in. If you're on the fence... get off it and email me or post your email here!

Come on people, I think we're only at seven teams right now and I'd like to be able to draft at 7pm as was scheduled and I think we need at least 8. If you'd like to play, please email custodialninja at gmail dot com as soon as you can! If you've gotten an invite and haven't responded, then come on and get with it.Thanks.

Edit: I think we just hit 8. I would think a ten team league would be more fun, but at least we got to 8.
