There's one in Shady Grove/Rockville. I know people that swear by it but I'm not blown away. It's good, not great. I feel the same way about Bonchon (Korean fried chicken) which also opened up in Rockville.

Nando's is AWESOME, the chicken is so fresh, clean and delicious. Damn I may stop by the one in Dupont and grab some tonight unless it rains as hard as they are saying.

Dear legal industry. When you're trolling for clients on TV, can you please not run the one with the ominous words associated with the vaginal mesh and the resulting bad medical conditions while I'm trying to down some spaghetti and meatballs for dinner?

Thanks a lot.

I'm no prude but I could do without all the ED medication ads.
Heck, I actually don't think ANY ads for prescription meds should
be allowed on TV.

An old colleague of mine used to rant about how disinterested was frequently
misused in place of uninterested.

but you probably don't care about that

Agreed, cakes - truly fantastic.

jim - I am very interested, in fact. ;-) My daughter, who is headed to college this Fall, and certainly exceeds my grammatical knowledge, was just using that example two days ago. She pointed out that if you are in court, you definitely want a disinterested judge, but not an uninterested judge.

Another one with my son this weekend was dissatisfied vs. unsatisfying. As I see it, you can be dissatisfied, while an activity can prove to be unsatisfying. And I might explore the nuances of swapping the prefixes, but wouldn't swap the suffixes. But I'm open to being educated on that one....

I've long thought it interesting that terrific evolved, or maybe I should say
became commonly misused, to mean something good.
The root of the word should have prevented that from ever happening.
An explosion is often terrific. But we don't really want terrific players on
the Wizards. I'd prefer we have wonderful players.

"fat" (michael jackson's "bad") was his best.

McGee, Young, Blatchemo, etc were full of wonder, wondering what they're supposed to do, wondering how the other team won, wondering why the coach is yelling at them, etc. They were truly wonderful.

I wouldn't mind some terrific players. Maybe Blair can inspire some terror in opposing players.

It's 4 in the morning and I am up early watching golf. :D
Golf, tennis and horse racing etc...
I don't play or ride very often but I do enjoy watching.
Still haven't attended any Kastles matches.
Don't think I am going to anytime in the near future.
Just the thought of being in a tennis stadium filled with disgusting, gentrifying yups makes me want to vomit.

I really love the "Spoiler" function that RealGM added as an option for posts. Masterfully used, as it so often is, it can add incomparable suspense to an otherwise run-of-the-mill post, and in a single instant etch permanently into the psyche a shock of recognition. I can't get enough of it.

I would also like to see them add a "Death Ray" function.

I was up in Vermont for the weekend to watch and support the VT100 footrace.
Weather was ideal so a new course record was established. 14:47. Yikes.
I'm not sure how that is even possible but there it is.
