Anybody else hitting up the free concert in D.C. tonight? Gotta get out of work early to get there since I figure it's gonna be chaotic.
Eric Maynor is the worst basketball player I've ever seen.

I went. Wasn't that chaotic, considering how huge it was. Seemed pretty well organized. George Lopez had one MFer, and Eminem had all the rest (many). Crowd seemed to like the Rihanna/Eminem segment and Metallica the best, but everyone was pretty good.

Re: Official Random Thoughts Thread - Part 3
I submit for your enjoyment: the most under-appreciated in-game dunk ever.
When I think of great in-game dunks, the first one that comes to mind is Vince Carter over Frederic Weis in the Olympics. But when you're talking NBA dunks, the same 15-20 get all of the recognition: Blake over Mozgov, Deandre on Brandon Knight, Shawn Kemp on Alton Lister, Jordan on Ewing, Starks lefty on the Bulls, Tom Chambers on the Knicks, KJ on Hakeem, Vince on Zo, etc. They're all GREAT dunks, and I don't mean to discredit any of them.
But somehow, one of the greatest in-game dunks in NBA history seems to have been forgotten. Early in the Bulls 72-win season in 1995-96, they played the Clippers in Anaheim. I was a sophomore in college, watching with my roommate on WGN. This was way before league pass, so the fact that one of the greatest teams ever was on a regional sports network was a gift from heaven. This was also pre-DVR, so after the initial replay, we couldn't go back and re-watch what we thought we had seen. We were in disbelief.
Finally, it's on youtube. And here's Scottie doing things human beings aren't supposed to do. Terry Dehere was 6'2". Skip to about 1:25 if the embedded link doesn't take you there. If this happened today, it would break Twitter and be on Sportscenter for a month.

How many more games do the Wizards have to lose before Ji shows up again?

I got a tweet from him last night. It was about the Lakers and Slurs, though. Probably doesn't count.

Can't believe the Malace at the Palace was 10 years ago. I was just 16 then. Time flies. I feel super old.
