Refreshing?
Hipsters are cul-de-sacians.
They are wanna-be urban try hards.
Transplants.
Gentrifiers.
They are not from DC.
Those are not their neighborhoods.
Recent arrivals such as yourself may be impressed by their lame attention seeking attempts at being urban but trust me life long DC residents are not.
Since you are new to DC I will go easy on you.
Take a look around you.
Starbucks.
CVS.
Whole Foods.
Marshall's
Staples.
Target.
Best Buy.
Bed Bath & Beyond.
Walmart.
Harris Teeter.
Home Depot.
Hideous overpriced condos.
Adults with no pants on the metro.
Adults snowball fighting.
Adults playing kickball.
I could go on and on...
DC is rapidly turning into Cul-de-sacia and it is only going to get worse as time goes on.
DC has already turned into every-other-city-USA.
Uninspiring.
Bland.
Boring.
Subpar.
Lackluster.
Dull.
Vapid.
You may think by being in DC that you are more cultured than the Wheaton cul-de-sacs but you really aren't.
All the DC flag t shirts in the world will never change the fact that those inflated rent paying bearded hiptards are transplant gentrifier Cul-de-sacians from the Cul-de-sacs.
It all sounds so totally no pants-ball-sacial.
Would you like for me to type it again in Spanish or in the 4 other languages I am currently studying?
How many languages do you speak?
How about espearminto?
