The Knicks will be interesting this summer. I don't think they should have given Anthony the massive contract, BUT they're going to have cap space and a high draft pick. They'll need to do well in the draft -- they won't have a great pick in 2016 even if they're awful (still paying for the Anthony and Bargnani trades). The only 2nd rounder they have until 2020 is in 2017.

Stoudemire and Bargnani expire after this season, which is good for them.

If they get Okafor, they won't even need Gasol. They could probably go after Dragic of Rondo isn't available.

The Peanuts and Rice talk in the trade thread got me thinking out having to go gluten-free from now on (due to Celiac Disease). I'm having a tough time with it. Anyone else hear have to deal with that? How's it been for you?

PM me Ruz. My wife is a nutritional counselor and happens to be celiac aside from being brilliant and gorgeous and great. I can put you in touch if you want a consultation. I'm not celiac but have suffered little doing without. Decent pizza is the only thing you really have to miss, with a little work almost everything else has a possible substitute.

For me the winners are:
Trader Joe's gluten free rice pasta.
Udi's bread (not Rudi's bread) -- Costco sells full size loaves.

.
While I'm a diehard Wizards fan, I'm also a secondary fan of a number of teams -- Memphis, Golden State, San Antonio, Chicago, and Toronto...among a few others.

Nice holiday story about the Grizz taking care of their intern. Link: Link.

You do not celebrate Xmas.
You are the same as my mother.
Xmas is just another day to you.
Xmas is just another day to my mother and her side of the family most of whom I have not seen or visited with in decades.
Reagan was still in office.

Probably because every time they invite you over, you just rant at the dinner table about hipsters and gentrification

Are you serious?
Ranting about hiptards and gentrifiers?
In the 1980s?
Are you old enough to remember what Lafayette Park looked like when Reagan was in office?

Same here, though still not sure where I'm sitting. Will have to confer with my cousin when I arrive in New York on Wednesday.

Two day work week this week. Gotta love it. Essentially really just today, since tomorrow is the office Christmas...err "holiday" party.

I am LOVING college basketball.

The Maryland Terps are ranked #15.

The Hawaii Rainbow Warriors have beat Pitt, Nebraska, and they're in OT versus #11 Wichita State.
Bye bye Beal.

Can't say enough how helpful was the information you sent me - helping turn what I thought was a big negative into a positive. I'm sure there'll be some rough patches, but now I know how to work through them. Thanks Doc.

No problem, happy to help and it's all the genius of wifeydoc not me, feel free to refer anyone you know to her if you bump into more folks lost and wandering in the gluten free desert. She's also a sorceress when it comes to getting cancer afflicted folks through chemo without nausea and with great bloodwork.

Back to work today. Had a nice break spending a few days in NY for Christmas and then a few days in South Beach before New Years. Winter Classic was awesome too, though not a huge Hockey fan(girlfriend is though, and she's a Ravens fan too so she had a hell of a few days sporting wise).
