Nice video, Doc. Man, that guy has great timing on his cuts too. Creates separation and spacing by knowing not just where to be, but when to be there.

Sorry for the Vevo.
Speaking of nutmeg ... closg00, I literally turned the sound down on Nicki, that's autotune/Paula Abdul, all over again.
She can't sing well at all IMO. She isn't much of a dancer, either. But NOW I KNOW why she's making music videos and getting rich and famous.
I will give Nicki Minaj credit where it is due. People might be calling Beyonce most beautiful, but I see Nicki's "assets" and know which female I think would be more fun to be with. The only problem with Nicki is that she's going to get really big, probably. That physique enlarges. But then again, Nicki cannot get too big for some guys. Also, she could surprise me and do a Janet Jackson, and maintain through the years.
closg00, I hadn't noticed but now you've giving me something to consider.
Bye bye Beal.

CCJ, listen to some of her other tracks, she can actually sing quite well...but Nicki is all marketing, she's bigger than Lady Gaga right now. OMG she's got a lot of body to work-with

Re: Official Random Thoughts Thread - Part 3
got an email at work today announcing the death of a colleague.
Nice guy but not someone I was esp close to. He did ride a motorcycle
though so that was something we shared between us. When I heard
he died in an accident, I feared it may have involved the motorcycle.
I did a little asking around this morning and came to learn that he
had given up the bike because too many of his friends had died
riding and a coat that he had patches on for each of his friends (killed riding)
was looking like Arlington Cemetery. He had a convertible and (I'm told)
'didn't believe in seat belts'. So in the accident he was ejected
from the vehicle and killed. While this is still very much a horrible
tragedy, somehow I feel better. But at the same time I'm thinking
"what's wrong with me?" It's awful.
I wonder what a shrink would say about that.

Re: Official Random Thoughts Thread - Part 3
I don't get folks who "don't believe in seat belts." In my family, seat belts are automatic. When my kids' friends get in the car and don't put on seat belts, I'm always a little surprised. I won't move the car until seat belts are on, though. I'm tolerant of all kinds of beliefs, but seat belts are required.

My wife is very cautious careful person and imparted that fully upon my girls.
They would get upset if they got into the car and I pulled out of the driveway
while they were still buckling in.

Putting on a seatbelt has reached the point of instinct for me. I simply cannot sit down in a car without reaching over my shoulder.

Re: Official Random Thoughts Thread - Part 3
I instinctively put on a seatbelt as a passenger in a vehicle but not as a driver.
I suppose I'll need to start thinking of a way to remember to buckle up when I drive. I seriously can't wrap my head around why it isn't instictive because my parents made me do it and I have nothing against seatbelts physically.
I guess subconsciously I "trust" my driving more than someone else's?
(Which I know is ridiculous because I'm not the only one on the road).

Ditto. I can't move my car from one side of a driveway to the other without just instinctively buckling up. Even if I'm just hopping in the car for a minute with no intention of actually driving it, more often than not I find myself buckled in by the time I'm ready to get out. The concept of not "believing" in seatbelts is one I simply am unable to wrap my head around,

one last detail i learned yesterday about the tragedy, it was a single car accident.
The driver either became distracted or was simply going too fast.

Anybody fastening their proverbial seatbelts (sorry) for the Facebook IPO that's about to start in less than an hour (11AM Eastern time)? I think my boss is going practically all in - and planning to sell perhaps minutes later - hoping to get a quick 10% profit. I'm tempted, but right now, I'm planning to stay on the sidelines. Be safe - on the road and in the market.

Ahhh, I couldn't resist the lure of the gamble. It's supposed to start at 38/share, but it's going to pop up a lot higher than that at the start. I put in a limit order to buy at 42. If it hits, I'll be shocked - and impressed with the folks at Fidelity.

How do I get in on this and how much do you have to put in or is it already too late?

Raf, it was scheduled to be open to the public at 11AM, but there have been a couple of small delays. So you should be able to get it from any on-line brokerage account. It was getting in before it was open to the public that only big-time investors who know people could do.

Sounds like a lot of work to set up an account doesn't it? Don't think I have the time, but I believe my 401K is set up in a way where I'm able to benefit some from companies like Facebook when they go public.

I wonder what the all-dreadlock team would be. George Hill, Nene, Faried... are there any guards with dreads?
