Wizards Trade: Vesely
Wizards Receive: That fat hispanic dude who used to run out during the Chipotle Burrito Dash wearing a cape

Why? Wizards get rid of a huge bust and finally gain a real post presence. Chipotle Man's footwork, size, and explosive lateral agility all will help lock down the center position long after Nene retires.

what can the Wizards trade to retain a next season lotto pick of at least 1 or 2, while holding on to Wall, KS, and maybe Nene...?

Since Min has probably lost Roy for a long time if not the season I think they may need a sg. They don't seem to have a place for Derrick Williams and they could use a defensive presence in the front court.

Jordan Crawford and Jan Vessely

For

Derrick Williams.

The Wizards could use his scoring punch and I think it's fair considering what each player has produced in their careers.

Thunder pay an extra 1.5 million this year (Difference between Nene and Thabo+Perkins), 500k next year (Difference between Nene and Thabo+Perkins), 4 million year after (Difference between Nene and Perkins), and 13 million for Nene's last year.

Interesting for the Wiz, but I doubt OKC would sacrifice Harden because of the cap and then turn around and add Nene's contract. Especially when they give up Perkins in the deal, who seems to be a clear amnesty target to reduce their future cap number.

Love it for us, but I don't think Minny does it. Vesely probably wouldn't play for them, and I'm not sure Crawford fits in with what Adelman wants to do on offense.

But once Rubio gets back, maybe Ariza+Booker for Williams and either Ridnour or Barea? If we're happy with Livingston, maybe route the Minny PG to another team in a 3-way? Do they need a backup C? What about Okafor+filler for a combination of some of their medium sized contracts? To the Checker!

Does anyone think Wall can make Derrick Williams better? Derrick Williams is a stretch 4 who can knock down shots then we have Beal at shooting guard and Nene, Kevin in the middle. I think that be a nice core. Can Derrick Williams play some small forward? Wall/Beal/Williams/Nene/Kevin be a nice starting five.

I'd take any chance I'd get to trade for DW if I was Ernie, even if it takes Vesely and Seraphin...

We need talent on this team; Ves is the exact opposite, and DW gets to the line more and rebounds better than Seraphin does...

I'm not sure I'd flip Seraphin for Williams. Scoring is overvalued, and I think Seraphin might gain quite a bit of trade value as the year goes on.

I'd definitely try to send Crawford and Vesely though, and I'd have no qualms working in Booker if that's what it took.

I'd give Booker+Crawford+top 7 protected lottery pic '13+Ariza for D. Williams + w/e expiring they have. Ariza probably gives them a better option at SF then Howard.

Trying to get Williams is a no-brainer, but I don't see the Wolves trading him for a prospect. They are trying to get good now, and would probably move Williams for a vet.

We'd probably have to offer Beal, who plays a position of weakness for them since Roy is about to retire.

Well according to the trade checker, almost any combination of Vesely, Crawford, Booker works for Williams. Vesely and Crawford, Vesely and Booker, or all three (Vesely, Booker, and Crawford). We have additional no cap assets in Preldzic and Satoransky that could be included.

I would do any of the above. Any more than that though I lose interest.

Here's a thought -- why don't we try to trade for a good player? I mean instead of Williams.

Josh Selby is languishing in Memphis, I wonder if we could get him...he makes less than $800,000.

They had to give up a pick to move him even (Wesley).

Protected though.

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

Would you do Jodie Meeks for Jordan Crawford? Meeks has been turning it around ever since he got out of doo-doo Brown's rotation (early season stats skew his productivity). Meeks wouldn't block Beal and would be a nice backup that could help Washington's lack of 3 point shooting. Crawford fits next to Duhon on the Laker bench since he's more of a ball-dominant SG.

What's Singleton's value? Why the hell is he playing the 4?
