What size television do you own to watch your sports on?

Unfortuantely, the TV is not just turning off by itself. It is losing signal while still on, and flashing menus when none of the buttons on the remote are pushed. It is like a ghost is controlling it.

Due to their lack of street smarts, on a daily basis there are numerous opportunities to victimize those flip flop and sandal people but I just cant bring myself to do it.

You know whats ironic about Panera, Condos, CVS, Starbucks and the rest of the current overpriced stores who pay inflated rents?

They replaced lots of independent stores and shops all over this city some of which used to sell televisions and other related electronics.

Agreed, it's a crying shame. Personally, I watch on this nice little artisan set that I got hand-crafted by a local televisionsmith. I had to pay a bit more for it, but it was worth it to support local business.

The HD Optomas can project much much larger than that.
I have owned a few HD Optomas over the past few years mostly for video gaming purposes.

The last time me and my nerd friends set one up outside we were projecting our games 16-17 feet high. We wanted it to be larger but we ran out of room.

Yeah, the 106" is all I can fit on my wall in my current setup, but yes they can definitely project a larger image.

If you use a Windows computer and are comfortable adding hardware, a Hauppage Colossus should work fairly well. It's a ~$130 piece of hardware, though, so probably wouldn't make sense.

I watch most of the games on my asus netbook, 13" screen. Most of the time the connection doesn't support a resolution that allows me to identify players or see the ball.

I watch on a POS old fashion style Toshiba, probably around 35-36 inch
that I got from FreeCycle then effed up the screen on moving it into
my house scratching the screen (still ok for most stuff other than hockey).

I'm still holding out for a true OLED TV. Gotta admit, they're getting cheap
enough so holding out is becoming more difficult. OTOH, our TV is poorly
designed for watching TV due to the shape of the room so moving to a truly
large screen when the room itself is problematic isn't a priority.

John Wall's living room television. Suprisingly very small. Since he is a video gamer I would have thought he would have a television much much much larger than that one.

Gilbert Arena's set up at his old house. You can see the projector mount hanging from the ceiling and the outline on the wall where the screen was. Judging from the photos I am guessing the screen was around 120 inches. Not small but not very big either.

I like watching with friends so I go out to a good sports bar to watch sports today (obviously I don't watch as much as I once did) . . . heck, I haven't even hooked up the cable in my townhouse; I just get seasons of shows I never got around to seeing from the library -- finally watched Lost and starting Jericho.

I had one around ~40 inches, but I just got a great deal on a new 50 inch 1080P HDTV for $700. Just in time for football season. 8-)
