That's a lot of points, but still, he's no James Harden. Oh, wait, . . .

Ironically, Milwaukee won on an off-balance last second 3. A legit dagger.

Tobias Harris playing well so far, albeit 3 game sample size. I thought he looked fantastic in summer league and thought Milwaukee made a bad decision trading him for Reddick. He's a player we really should have been targeting given his age and skillset, and our team needs.

Cleveland, Detroit, Phoenix and Sacremento all win tonight and we lose so that cements us further down in the standings... that's a good thing. Hopefully it will finish this way so we wont get worse then the 6th pick...

Curry was almost unstoppable last night. The only player who could keep him from scoring was Jarret Jack, who did a fantastic job denying Curry the ball on the last couple possessions of the game.

http://blogs.thescore.com/tbj/2013/02/2 ... n-a-fight/

Outside of David West and Lance Stephenson, Tuesday night’s Warriors-Pacers fight was a skirmish between a bunch of the nicest guys in the league. Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Roy Hibbert going at it isn’t really “Gladiator,” you know?

I mean, Klay Thompson is such a sweetheart that on top of the $35,000 fine the NBA levied against him, his dad (former NBAer Mychal Thompson) is going to take his allowance away. From ESPN Radio, as transcribed by Believe the Hype:

This was the first time that Klay has ever been fined for an on court indiscretion in his NBA career and the consequences will be more noticeable to him than just the $35K fine. The 23-year-old doesn’t have access to his money, all cheques are paid to Mychal and Julie who take care of his accounts for him to make sure Klay’s financial situation is set up for his post NBA career. So, naturally, Papa Thompson’s going to teach Klay a lesson of his own by fining him personally also, however, Klay will find out the old fashioned way.

“He will [find out he's been fined by us] when he sees that cash envelope show up a little short this week,” he said.

A few things here:

Haha to all of this.
Parents still get mad when their kids get in fights, even when they’re adults.
Getting docked allowance probably won’t help Klay’s reputation as a guy who looks like Cory Matthews on “Boy Meets World.”
Klay Thompson’s parents control his bank account?

To that last question, the answer is yup.

So, if Mychal takes care of Klay’s finances, what does his week-by-week financial situation look like?

“Rent is $3K … Walking around money $300 a week…” Mychal explained. “That’s a lot of money to go to the movies and buy pizza…”

But what if Klay wanted to take a girl out on a nice date?

“Go to Langers in Oakland … Go to the grocery store and get a nice [bottle of wine] for $30…”

What about the corkage fee?

“Sit in the car and drink it.”

Seems like Mychal Thompson is a pretty good dad, except for maybe the part where he tells his son to sit in a car drinking a bottle of wine, which is almost definitely illegal. As a former player who’s been around the league for decades, he knows the struggles that young players often have with their money and he’s taking steps to prevent that from happening to his son. Plus, he seems to realize that if he takes Klay’s allowance away when he gets in fights, he can probably trick him in to not trying to fight guys who are 7-foot-2, weigh nearly 300 pounds and have gone through MMA training. This is just a dad looking out for his son and that’s pretty nice.

And, of course, it’s also hilarious because an NBA player is getting his allowance taken away. Let’s not forget that. TBS Very Funny, even if he’s just playing around.

But it still equaled a L

No other starter scored more than 6 pts.

That doesn't minimize Curry's accomplishment does-it? Landry and Jack scored 15 & 14. Curry also had 7 dimes.

You forget how big Lebron is. He's like an inch and a half taller than Zach Randolph

Milwaukee made a tremendous blunder when they included Tobias Harris in the JJ Redick trade.

Harris is better than Redick. He is going to be a star in the NBA. I think he's going to be like Beal is for the Wizards. Tobias Harris is going to average well over 20 PPG for years in the NBA and the Bucks never let him play when they had him.
Bye bye Beal.

Enes Kanter in a start for the Jazz: 23/22 :o

Dem Kevin Love/Joakim Noah numbers.

Meanwhile our young star first round pick big man can't even get off da bench.

I think ill head to Leage Pass and check out the full game, I need to see this kid.

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

Enes Kanter is a good player. He just doesn't get minutes because he still lacks court awareness, and he's not a good defender. But he's one of the most skilled bigs in the NBA, even at his young age.

I noticed this as well, he was out of position a few times where he couldnt rotate in time to get the block or even challenge a shot. With an athletic dude like Favors next to him long term this shouldnt be a big deal, as long as he defends his position and boxes out, which he clearly does, let Favors come over to challenge shots.

His post moves were incredible though. He got caught double teamed once or twice and lost the ball, but when isolated he has head fakes, shoulder fakes, and he has the foot speed to take advantage of openings.

I would have been ready to go all in on Enes Kanter just based on his Hoop Summit performance.

The display he put on there at such a young age was just incredible to me.
