I cashed it in before the game was over. ie I went to bed.

I may be old but don't yet require pharma help for anything

Watching the ORL CHI game.. Interesting to see Redick creating so much offense. Impressed with his game so far.

Faired was unbelievable at the end of the DEN-HOU game. What a player.

I am still amazed at how little Faried's extensive body of work failed to impress NBA scouts and general managers.

He was outstanding statistically on the boards for 4 years. His defense was stellar. Faried played well with the spotlight on him against good teams. He played the best NCAA teams at their place never at Moorhead. He broke rebounding records from people like Robinson and Duncan. Faried took his team to the NCAAs with only one other good player on his team. Not only that, but Faried blocked a shot to see their NCAA victory over Louisville.

It is amazing how the tape measure rules on draft day. If he were 6'9" instead of 6'6" Faried would have been a lottery pick.
Bye bye Beal.

If Faried was 6'9 instead of 6'6 he'd be a hall of famer.

Faried is average length for a PF, but is above average in strength, agility and leaping. There's nothing physical to prevent him from being a great player.

Before he was drafted I posted Kenneth Faried's NCAA numbers suggest he could have a HoF NBA career.

I recall posting he would be better than Millsap or Blair.

More than becoming another Rodman, i felt before he was drafted Faried would score a lot of points in the NBA because he led the NCAA in finishing percentage. I knew Faried would get boards and a whole lot of dunks in the NBA. His steals and block totals I predicted be relatively high. He will score a lot of points in transition to go along with his rebounds. That type player over time, if he stays healthy and plays for a winning team, is one that can have a HoF career. Faried is that type player, even at 6'6".
Bye bye Beal.

Right now, Faried has a PER of 22.5. In limited minutes, Javale McGee has a PER of 25.0. (Per-36 of 20.6 points, 10.7 rebounds, 3.2 blocks).

Andre Iguodala' s PER is 13.4 and his paltry WS/40 is 0.46. He is getting off to a very slow start.

This season around the league a few second-year players are having bounce back seasons.

Kemba Walker looks like a new player in Charlotte.
Jimmer Fredette is contributing of the bench.
Chris Singleton has remarkably improved with driving and hitting big shots.

One guy who has returned to form after many seasons is Andrei Kirilenko. He appears to be the same player as a few seasons back.
Bye bye Beal.

Too early to say anything definitive, of course, but in Simple Rating System (combines scoring differential and strength of schedule), Cleveland ranks 22nd and Charlotte ranks 29th. Wizards rank 28th. Boston, by the way, ranks 25th.

Has anyone noticed how well Kirilenko has played?

In 4 games with Minnesota, he is averaging 15 pts, 8 rbs, 4 asts, 3 blks and 1.5 steals per 36 minutes with a 70% TS% (his actual minutes per game is: 30). His PER is 24.9 and Minnesota is 4-1 without Kevin Love and Rubio.

I liked Drummond, would have taken him in a trade down scenario.

If there's a god of the entertaining storyline, the new Lakers coach will be Eddie Jordan.
