:o Looks like a designed play for McGee.

I don't think it was a designed play. It was a case where the Clippers simply did not think there was any chance of McGee being the one to take the last shot so they didn't bother guarding him. McGee, to his credit, recognized this and stepped out behind the arc to receive the pass. In this league, even a big man who rarely shoots from the perimeter is a threat to hit an open 3 if he is left WIDE open.

Apparently Denver is happy with their rotation and how they are using McGee. Moz is expiring, I wonder if Denver will try to re-sign him or will they give those minutes to McGee next year.

they might try to trade him. there are whispers that they might try to go after. D.C., so they might include him in a package to the kings?

Man, if that happened it would be the second time they would have done that - sign a big to a large contract only to trade him away soon after to take a chance on another team's young knucklehead.

I watched that game. The three wasn't McGee's best play IMO.

Javale caught a pass on the baseline and made a quick, Larry Bird-like touch pass inside to Faried, who dunked the ball. That was one of the best plays I've ever seen Javale make. He has good hands and good court vision, and on this occasion he took his time and made a terrific play.

On another play he had a real nice wrap around play, I think off a drop step, where McGee dunked on DeAndre Jordan.

McGee played very well in that win over the Clippers.

I was like WHAT?!!?!? but then I noticed the score. And what quarter they were in.

Yeah, i'd probably only let McGee take a 3 if we were up, and there was absolutely nothing riding on it.

0-6 in 7 minutes 2 PF tonight so far against Min. -12

That's our boy Mr McGee. At least he has 3 rebounds though they are all offensive rebounds. Probably from his 6 missed shots.

2 blocks.

Just glad he isn't our project anymore. Specially at 10M on a multi year contract. We have plenty still here to develop that cost less and have cleaner slates.

Wall, Beal, Kevin, Temple, Price, Booker, Ves, Webster, Singleton

That's a long enough list.

Bulls exposing all of the Heats weakness. Lack of size and rebounding. Also they cant stop teams from scoring in the paint.

Yup the refs keeping the Heat in the game. Game should be over by now. It's sad how blatant the ref favoritism is in the Nba.

For balance, note the comments by Nuggets fans to the article. Also note the results of the poll that accompanies the article. 65.5% of respondents said to be patient with JaVale. I am still going to give JaVale another couple of years to gauge his development.

Of course the fans are preaching patience, they've been enthralled by his potentials much like Wizards fans were. McGee is still as awful as ever where it matters most.

On the defensive side of the ball.

This is year five of his NBA career, but apart from his improvement on offense, he's still the same guy. If it hasn't sunk in by now it never will.
