I think I'll take Muhammad since he can play the SF spot

Hope is all we wiz fans have. No logical reason to believe, but believe we do.

This upcoming draft is NOT good aside from Shabazz and Zeller. I do NOT want Noel. He'll never be what Javale is now. I'd rather have Len.

Macadoo looks pretty good if he can play the SF full time.

This coming draft class is not good, unless we luck into the top 2 picks. The 2014 draft class is a different case; the Harrison twins, Wiggins, Parker, Aaron Gordon, Tyus Jones, and Aquille Carr. We should definitely tank next year, if we don't make the playoffs this year.

Alex Len is better than Noel by a lot.

Mind you, I'm easily fooled by the lanky, pogostick, big men. I see Camby in every one. And then, their shins snap in their third, summer-league game. That said, I'm loving Gobert. I love his mobility, quick hops, grip and especially his wingspan. I'm composing a Hallmark card about his court vision and work ethic. But, most importantly, I dig the French players (because they teach teamplay and defense, defense, defense). And this French player comes from the same team as our own Seraphin (and Thabo). He's raw and twiggish, but I'm still a big fan.

I haven't seen Gobert, but I was impressed with the reports of Isaiah Austin's debut. I still don't want another Ike Austin. :)

barelyawake, French players and internationals in general are starting to outperform our A. A. U. circuit prep phenoms. Internationals are getting better and US talent is not IMO.

Alex Len, the 7’1” sophomore center for Maryland outplayed the two Kentucky big men. He went for 23 points and 12 boards on 10-18 shooting. He also added 4 blocks and made a few of the most memorable plays of the game. The first time he touched the ball in the post he put a nasty spin move on Noel and finished at the rim. Over the coarse of the rest of the game he showed us a running hook, a fadeaway, range out to 18 feet, impressive mobility, and plenty of dunk shots. But his most surprising, and maybe most important asset is a pair of very sticky hands. Len made tough catch after tough catch in the post and in the transition game.

He showed real fluidity as an athlete and the ability to make all the plays that he’s supposed to make as well as a couple plays that went beyond our expectations. It was a very impressive night for him and a night in which he may have made himself some money. But careful evaluators will hold their applause. He looked great against the Kentucky bigs who, for all their obvious talent, were not ready to step on the court as true freshman and play hard and smart on every single play.

French start early teaching fundamentals.

FYI my other two early people to watch (thus far) are Kabongo and Adonis.

It seems inevitable that this will be yet another year that the Wizards end up with a very high draft pick, and sure enough, it just happens to come in a year where there seems to be a lack of elite talent. Sigh.

With that said, TONY MITCHELL.

I have a feeling we'll have a high enough pick to grab a decent player, but not good enough to get a franchise changing cornerstone.

The problem is there don't appear to be any elite can't-miss prospects in this draft, at least not yet. So while there's definitely several good players worth grabbing, the reality is that the teams that already have much more talent than us (and other bottom 5 teams) will also be adding these good players. So we don't gain any ground on them.

What position do you think he'll play in the NBA, SF or PF?
