Assuming Biyombo's age is legit, I dont think he'll be out of the league. He looked at lot better last year. I think the Cats were so bad his first 2 years that he was forced into a role a raw 18 y/o player from Africa should not have been put in. With more talent in the front court, he had his minutes cut and he looked much better both offensively and defensively...
The real issue is if they pick up his Option for next year for 5.3M..

I think they probably pick up the option. True it is over his open market value, but if they like his potential they probably want to keep him king term.
