Mike Bibby is working-out for Memphis, Josh Selby would be the player most-likely to be cut. Selby would be a steal if we could get him, the guy would be or best finisher.

Closg00, I cant believe you don't remember...Ted said FA's don't want to come to DC. That's why we trade for them. Selby's a pipe dream.

Knowing what I know about how this organization is run, I felt pathetic posting this^, but did anyway :(

I wanted to draft Selby so I would be OK with this.

Honestly, I don't care either way about his preferences. He was great in summer league.

I am searching for a politically correct way to say gays are openly serving in the military and I think it is about time the ones in the NBA come out if it could help their performance on court.

Man, Leonsis material practically writes itself. Something tells me that him becoming an NBA laughing stock in such a short times is just going to make him dig in deeper, in a "the fools, I'll show them all" kind of way.

:( Damn, didn't know about this, what Selby did was really foolish. The Wiz would never touch this guy now :(

I'm pretty sure the rumors have been dispelled, closg. That article is from September 2011 and isn't up to date.

Anyone for Nasty Nate should he be waived? Nate certainly has golatas to match Crawfords... Could be a bad tandem though.

^ Was just about to post something similar, but I'd assume he'd also have options from better teams. It would probably come down to the opportunity to boost his value for next summer with a team like Washington, or the chance to play in the playoffs but with less minutes/shots on a better team.

He's better than Shaun Livingston.

Anyone for James Anderson for the next call-up? I suppose there's a reason why he can't stick with a team. OTOH, perhaps it was the numbers game that was not kind to him.

The saying 're-arranging the deck chairs on the Titanic' comes to mind...

Houston just signed Anderson, think he's better than Martin? Oh-well.

Josh Childress is a FA he would be an upgrade any SF we have and would be worth a look. We should also sign Bibby or another vet PG .

Martell Webster is easily better than Josh Childress.

Webster is likely better than Childress. Bibby was pretty good, but he's washed up.

here is the thing. E.G> made one big error that lead us to here, that was the okariza trade. we should have bought out lewis and used the cap room to go after some cheep young vets. we would have been no worse. We also should have been active on the waiver wire. We could have picked up E'twaun Moore and John Leuer. those two are playing well with now, Moore is playing well with the magic and John is ripping apart the D league.those two would have been good pick ups for us. we just made bad moves. we need to dump okariza and move on, we might be able to work it out there, but we might even need to clean house and go after players that way. either way to get good free agents we need to clean out our front office.
