Nah. It's tough to score in a post-up with time winding down. The other team can double team and there may not be enough time to rotate for the open look.
You are right, but we had 10 secs on the clock tho. I'm just mad at the 3 straight possessions that Seraphin bricked shots; totally killed the momentum...and John choking at the FT line.

Wall doesn't have the clutch gene. CCJ is right on that.

Seraphin hurt us late with about 3-4 missed shots in a row.
Then Wall's FT's.
Then that last play...good take from Beal but that's always gonna be a tough shot to make. Running one-hander, off balanced with the defender all over you. And Wall should have just gone straight up with a jumper when the ball got tipped back out.

Yup, this is the most important thing for this season. By far.

I still hate Kevin Seraphin taking those jumpers in the 4th.

Same old crap. Witt stayed with Seraphin way too long in the 2nd half. I don't care how many good looks he had, he's such a liability on the other end. Ariza makes me want to throw up every time he touches the ball on offense. Should have won by 10.

Garcia closed out on Wall quickly and Wall doesn't particularly have the quickest release so I dont know why Miller31time is trippin. Plus Wall was fouled. Dont expect a guy in his third game back, that just missed 33 games to turn into Steve Nash overnight. I wont judge Wall's shot until ASB. Beal just found his shot this year, after everyone thought he wasn't a good shooter.

For all the talk of Cousins being a bad player, he still had 21pts and 16 rebs with the highest +/- of the game. he quietly had a great game smh.

Why the heck did Seraphin take 18 shots?
Anyways, tough loss but great to see Wall + Beal gaining confidence and developing chemistry. This bodes well for the future.

Wow 62 pts in the paint? WTF? We just let Tyreke and Demarcus go ham on us.

Okafor and Nene had solid defensive games but Seraphin let Cousins go off..

Re: Wizards @ Kings - 01/16/13 10:00PM EST
I'd rather have 1 Cousins on this team than 10 Seraphins. He went 9-19 as a starter, but Seraphin 8-18 coming off the bench. How the fcuk does he get to take 18 shots on our team and grabbed only 3 rebs. There should be a limit on shots he can take, depending on how many rebs he pulls.

That one stung, some unlucky breaks and a gilbert-esque moment for John. Weren't we up 10 at one point in the 4th quarter? Should have gone to Beal more down the stretch. I'm pleased with the play I suppose. Once Ariza came in it seemed like the offense just flat out stopped. Dare I say it...Rudy Gay may have helped in this game....Yikes.....

Seraphin should never be taking so many shots. Unless he is hot.

Beal is more of a Catch shoot player, and the kings did a good job guarding him.

It was 2.3 secs left when the ball got kicked out. Wall's set shot usually has no lift. Garcia was closing out on him before he got the ball that's why John tried to go past him with the runner.

Wall doesn't have the offensive game yet to be a closing scorer, but that doesn't mean he doesn't have the clutch gene. I was at a game where he sunk 3 fts down 3 with no time on the clock to get to OT. He missed the fts and that was bad, but he's made many plays late to get teammates open looks. This game was lost on Seraphin's misses and lack of kickouts, Seraphins soft foul on DC, Martell's inability to shoot or get the pass to Beal in the corner, Martell going over the screen while guarding Evans, and Walls missed fts. They just didnt close....
