Don't look now, but if the season started on January 7th the Washington Wizards would be 3-0!

Even more remarkable, over that same time span Jan Vesely has quietly averaged more points and rebounds than fouls, while only missing two free throws. Not quite starter material yet, but even the biggest critics will have to admit that he's quickly approaching D-League All-Star level potential.

The architect of this dramatic reversal of fortune? That's right, the much maligned Ernie Grunfeld.

If you haven't extended your season tickets yet you better hurry. There won't be too many around once the ink on Grunfelds 10 year contract extension has dried.

We're moving on up baby, and there isn't a damn thing the Kings can do about it.

This is iike the 1st time since game 1 that I'm really looking forward to seeing a Wizards game - and feel confident they will be entertaining.

Hope I didn't jinx them. :blank:

First game of our west coast swing, it would be nice to keep the momentum rolling and get a W over one of the easier opponents on the trip. With that being said, Sacramento is decent at home (11-10) and it will be no means a gimme, but then again I guess no game for us is.

Cousins has been lighting it up as of late, we'll need to make him and inefficient jump shooter tonight to give us the best shot at winning.

Hope to build on our streak and make it four in a row. Of note if we win tonight we've won the last 9 games in which Wall has appeared dating back to last season, not sure if its a good, significant sign, but it certainly isn't bad.

I said it before, if there were ever a game that we need to blow out our adversary in, its this one. Cousins isn't coming here unless he sees something good building here. Wall needs to lead the attack. Win Big, and facials all around.

Yeah, but if his minutes are increased, it should only be for about 2-3 minutes from what he's been averaging. He's still getting himself back into game shape, I don't want to rush upping his minutes; we need him healthy, not picking up another injury.

Tonight the Kings are favored by 4.5 according to one betting line.

What I hope to see is Washington play their very best and Sacramento play their best, too. They have bruising rebounders, a lot of length on the wings, and some quickness with their guards. Washington distributed the ball well last game but the Kings are going to be tougher than Orlando.

I just watched the Terps win (Yessss!) and I hope to see the Wizards extend their streak in what could be a statement game for John Wall.

Nene and Seraphin are going to need to bring it tonight IMO for the Wizards to win.

This is the game that tests Ernie Grunfeld and Ted's philosophy for signing veterans. Guys like Webster, Okafor, Ariza, and Price ideally step up tonight and keep the defense up. Frustrating Cousins and forcing the Kings into bad perimeter shots is the key to this game.

If the Kings easily handle the Wizards, that could be a statement, too.

Who's gonna win Wall vs Cousins?
Bye bye Beal.

Why does everyone think wizards getting Cousins? He's known as a head case there's no way Ernie wants him here in Washington and he takes low % shots most of the time.

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.
