In only 14 minutes Mcgee had a -14 on/off diff.

He could have the best PER in the league and trading him was still the
smart move. We got WAY better as soon as he (and Nick) left. Not
necessarily with Ws right away, but just with a steadier, headier
style of basketball.

And missed a key FT at the end and had a huge turnover that they somehow threw away. I don't care about the stats. He usually puts up good numbers. Just not clutch. Needs to be complimentary player not top option. He's a much better scorer than Temple, but I like that kid's defense and his passing.

I'm not arguing he's the 2nd coming. Yeah, he made a couple bad plays. So did some
other wizards. As for clutch, assuming you can define what that actually means, he
hit the go ahead 3. We never trailed after that. He played 17 minutes. As far as
being a complimentary player, that's exactly what he did tonight.

Wow though, that face/body plant by Beal looked scary. I was worried he cracked a rib or something. Hopefully he's OK. He was grimacing right till the end of the game.
