The trade reduces Wizards salaries for next year, but does not create cap space. They still won't have any.

Barbosa will provide a lot of veteran leadership to the training room table.

If this is all there is to the deal then we should force Barbosa to play the rest of the season on his torn ACL.

I know the posters on this board can get out of hand, but they're real people with families, and are just a bit worked up right now. That seems a bit harsh.

‏@WizardsXTRA

One of the positives Ernie supporters had was that he got Crawford for nothing. Now he gave him up for nothing. He eliminated his own good.

lmao!

I am holding out how that we might be getting more out of this than we know right now,
Or ted nixes the deal with enough time to take them up on Melo. This is just total BULL ****. But again the money does not work straight up so i am still holding out some hope.

Someone for Nene to chat with I suppose. Isn't he Brazilian as well? We have a lot of foreign players on our roster...to bad that isn't a good thing like it is with the spurs.

Maybe we flip Barbosa for something of lesser value. Oh, that's right, nothing exists of lesser value.

Ernie could get anyone of these: http://listverse.com/2007/10/04/top-10- ... -diseases/

and I wouldn't feel bad for him or his family at all. Someone with THAT level of incompetence should have his seeds wiped from the Earth

We literally have the worst run franchise in the league. I don't know why I still get excited for the trade deadline anymore. Every year it's the same crap. Grunfeld effin sucks. Can Dan Syner buy the team please?

If that is the deal, and nothing else gets added. then the only bright side to this is that E.G. is most certainly gone, for not getting young talent for young talent. or at lest a pick out of it.

The funny thing is Danny is probably way better for this sport than football because money matters alot in FA and need big name FA's where thus football draft picks are important and maybe more important than FA.

EG - Barbosa will be a good locker room presence. I mean the team can visit him in his hospital room as he recovers from ACL surgery.
